Michaels' POV:

This is my fault. I thought that if I had gone after her, if I could just get her to talk to me that everything would be alright. Now here I am, shirtless with my wings chained together, hands chained to the wall, and my feet chained to the floor in some type of medieval looking dungeon. The only difference would be this dungeon is heated.

While the love of my life lies chained in the cell across from mine and is still unconscious after whatever they gave her. It's been a whole day. The professor tried contacting me, but something kept him out or at least kept him from making contact. I have no idea how or what it was but it was pretty powerful to keep him out.

I remember that when she started fighting last night they stuck her with a few needles but I have no idea what they could have drugged her with for her to be out this long. They tied her hands together and her feet before throwing her in the back of a car. All I saw was red then as I kept fighting them, then that one guy with the black hair whistled and before I knew it I was being held down by seven or eight guys. The other guy saw my mark then and started laughing, then all the other guys did too. It was what he said after that, that made me want to kill him.

'Oh, I have always wanted to see what would happen when that stupid little girl found her link. Ha and now I get to watch as she watches you die.'

I couldn't help it I started to struggle again and spit in that bastard's face. I remember something hitting me on the back of the head and then waking up in this prison or dungeon with Katherine across from me. It was still dark out when I came too though and now a whole day has come and gone and she still isn't awake.

I have to get to Kat somehow to check on her. I can tell that the sun is setting lower and lower in the sky as the light in the cells become dimmer, and then I hear footsteps coming down the hall. I can't worry about whoever is coming down the hall right now, all I can worry about is her. I can only imagine the worst right now, with one of them being her never waking up or........dying. That seems to be a common fear of mine after this week, it's almost funny at this point. Maybe it will be funny one day if we both get out of this alive.

I hear the door open and then I see three people walk in. An older looking guy, maybe the professors age maybe younger and the other two......I know them.......they were the friends Kat was talking to in the restaurant that day. Jenny and........Johnny. That has to be them, they have to help Kat!

"Why isn't she awake?!? What did that guy do to her?!?"

"Shh...Michael not so loud you're yelling is hurting my ears. Do you remember us? We're Kat's friends. I 'm Jenny, this is my link Johnny and this is Kat's godfather Jeremiah."

"Yes I remember seeing you both at the restaurant that night, but what's wrong with Kat? Why hasn't she woken up yet?"

"Kat was given.......a drug to knock her out. She'll be coming out of it any minute now. But I'm afraid it's too late to do anything.....our appeal wasn't granted by the council. You're going to be hunted for the Luna Celebration and Kat is going to be punished for her crimes against the Tribe and the packs. Did Kat ever mention why the Tribe was looking for her or the Luna hunts?"

I just nod my head. I'm not worried about me, but I don't want her punished. I shouldn't have told her my secret. Then she wouldn't have run, and she wouldn't have been found by the pack members. Now she's going to be in pain and it's my fault, again.

"Will she....will she be okay afterwards?"

I look at Jenny to answer my question but she just looks at me with tears in her eyes before turning to Johnny. He wraps his arms around her as he looks back at me with a distant look in his eyes. I notice that both of them have a similar looking mark on their wrists, a small crescent shaped moon and a star. I guess that means their links and he is calming her down. All I want right now is to be able to hold Katherine in my arms and never let her go again. I want to comfort her like he is comforting Jenny right now. I look toward the older guy, Jeremiah I think it was, for an answer and he looks first at my shoulder, at my mark. Then looks back at me with understanding in his eyes before answering me.
