Kat's POV:

Overall, I gotta say that death is not that bad. Dark and quiet, but other wise pretty peaceful. I guess I'm either in purgatory or maybe limbo because this does not look like heaven to me. Not to mention Crescent isn't with me here and I'm not gonna lie I miss arguing with Crescent. I can still feel her presence so I'm not really worried about her, but I miss her.  She seems to still be sleeping I guess, not actually sure. The only real problem with this whole death in the dark thing is I think I'm hearing voices every once and a while, unless I'm just going crazy. Hah, dead and crazy. Yeah,  I would have bet on that outcome.

There is it again...that noise......voices. Too soft to understand yet, but loud enough to interrupt this peaceful silence and be annoying. This either means I am in fact dead and crazy or......oh shit.....I'm not dead. Can't I do anything right? I mean come on, I was beaten to what I thought was death and instead I'm just blacked out. Which means Crescent is sleeping off our injuries right now which is great, but I have no idea where we actually are right now. Oh goodie.

At least I know that I'm regaining some consciousness if I can hear whoever is around me. Oh please dear sweet Luna do not let me be in a hospital, any where but there. I would rather the pack have found me then be in a hospital right now. Please Luna, no hospital, anywhere else in the world but there.

Michael's POV:

"What do you mean you've never seen that type of blood before? You're a Doctor damn it, you're supposed to have seen it all by now."

I felt angered and offended when Sarah says that there is something wrong with my angel's blood. There isn't anything wrong with her she is perfect in every way, and to imply other wise is stupid and foolish.

"Michael, I have seen it, just not in mutants or humans. Her blood proteins are more animal than human or mutant. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with her....its' just unusual is all."

I notice that the Professor coming back into the room. My worry has managed to get the best of me right now, and I prepare to plead with him once again, all while trying to figure out why she would have blood that is more like animal blood than human or mutant blood.

Kat's POV:

I really am struggling to come out this, with the voices fading in and out every few minutes I guess. It goes from clear sounding to fuzzy in a matter of moments. Everything that was just said was fuzzy but now it seems to be coming in clear.

"Professor, I still think that we should take her to a hospital. Think about how long she's been out, not to mention she was practically dead when I brought her here. No offense to Sarah, but she may been internally injured. I showed you what those animals were doing to her! Please, she can't.....she can't die."

That sounds like the angels' voice, meaning that he wasn't an angel after all. Always too good to be true I suppose. But from what he says I'm not in a hospital, at least not yet........oh please let that be true.

"Michael, have a little faith in me please. She is healing at an incredible rate if you remember. In just a few short hours, her arm is healed and her ribs are almost healed. She heals almost as good as Logan does at this rate."

"Quiet both of you. Sarah he is just worried about her. The bond he has formed with her is already quite strong. Now if you two will leave the room for a moment, I will try to make contact with her."

I hear a door shutting softly somewhere before it gets quiet again, the voices vanished and I am left in silence. I guess I'm not coming out it as much as I thought I was. But what is that......a fluttering of wings........like butterflies.....no, no, no. Just shit....a mind reader.
