Ch42-Best Friends?

Tuesday

Sky's P.O.V.

I'm currently in the cafeteria working up the courage to ask Aphmau if she wants to go to the mall with me. At one point in time this would have been easy but that was before I fell in love with her.mi see her walk in the cafeteria and sit down at our table. She is speaking with Lucinda about something to do with her math class.

"Aphmau can I speak to you for a second" I say trying to sound normal

"Sure" she says

I get up and she follows me. We head out of the cafeteria and as I leave I see the popular boys, Travis and Lowell are all glaring at me but I just smirk. We stand outside the cafeteria and I ask Aphmau if she wants to go to the mall with me, I tried to sound confident.

"I would love to" she says smiling

YES!!! *Mental fistbump*. This is so great. I'm so happy she said yes. We discuss the details and we are going today after school. I'm so excited. 

*Time skip to after school*

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I'm with Sky and we are walking to the mall. We both need to get our Halloween costumes so we decide to get them together. I wonder if it's something more though? He has been acting strange lately. Oh well.

When we get to the mall the first thing I notice is that it is huge and the second thing I notice is Asher standing right in the middle of the mall. Sky notices to.

"Don't worry we can avoid him" he says

"To late..." I say and Asher begins to walk up to us

"My best friend is dating my ex?" He said pretending to be hurt

"I'm not your best friend, and we aren't dating" Sky says

"Oh so you just come to the mall together?" Asher says crossing his arms

"Yeah it's what friends do, not that you would know" Sky says defensively 

"Whatever, just watch your back" Asher says storming off

Asher's P.O.V.

Well I'm not going to let Sky get away with this. He should know that won't give up on Aphmau. I know he likes her but I won't let that stop me. I have an idea. Aphmau dosnt like me because she sees me as the bad guy. If I can change her opinion of me she will come back to me.

But how can I do this? I have the perfect person to help. My buddy Spike will help me. I give Spike a call.

A-Yo dude I need you help

S-With what

A-I need to make a girl who thinks I'm bad think I'm good so she will date me

S-Where are you?

A-The mall

S-I'll be there in ten

When Spike arrives I tell him about Aphmau. He knows who she is he just dosnt know how we broke up. He suggests that someone pretends to try and kidnap Aphmau and I save her.

"But who will pretend to kidnap her?" I say

"I don't know, do you think we can pay someone to do it?" He suggests

"Maybe Jett will do it?" I reply

We call Jett. He says he will do it for 50 bucks. We agree out of desperation. Aphmau dosnt know who Jett is and she hasn't ever seen him which means that we can get away with this. When Jett arrives we  plan out the whole thing. When Sky and Aphmau come out of the costume shop Jett will jump in and grab Aphmau. Then I will save her and everything will go perfect.

Only it didn't...

When they came out of the costume shop Jett tried to grab Aphmau and I ran towards her. I slipped and I fell. Sky punched Jett and Aphmau and Sky immediately figures out it was my plan. I just try to sneak away.

Aphmau's P.O.V.

Right now I'm at my house with sky and we are watching some YouTube. I'm resting my head on sky's shoulder because I'm almost asleep. I'm really glad I'm friends with Sky. He is always there for me. I hear a knock at the door and I go and answer it. Sky comes with me. 

When I answer the door I see the police. Oh no, did they figure out it was us who ruins Missys house? No they didn't, but when I find out what they are here for I really wish it was because of Missys house. My parents where found dead. 

They leave and I close the door. I can't process what just happened. I don't feel anything at all. I'm compleatly frozen. I feel tears rolling down my cheeks I walk up to the headroom and take out the Amythest necklace.

"I still remember the day I got this" I say to sky

More tears are rolling down my cheeks. I sit down on the bed and Sky sits next to me. Sky wipes my tears away. He hugs me tightly and I cry into his shoulder. I fall asleep being held by sky.

Garroth's P.O.V.

Zane and I where in my room discussing some homework when we see the police at Aphmau's house. The first thing I thought is that we are busted for Missys house but then the police just leave. Aphmau goes upstairs and I see Sky behind her. She is crying. When it looks like she has fallen asleep Zane and I head over to her house.

Zane and I knock on the front door and Sky answers.

"Hey guys come in" he says whispering because Aphmau is asleep

"Thanks" we whisper back and we go inside

We sit down at the table and Sky tells us what happend. He tells us that Aphmau's parents where found dead and now Aohmau has no family left. I feel so bad for her. I say that I'm going to the toilet but I really go to Aphmau's room. 

Aphmau is awake and she is sobbing.

"Aphmau?" I whisper

"G-Garroth?" She says

"It's going to be ok, I know what you are going through, I lost my mother" I say coming closer to her.

"I can't believe my parents are gone..." She says softly

I wrap my arms around her and I kiss her forehead. She falls asleep in my arms and I lay her back down and I kiss her again. I head downstairs and I rejoin Sky and Zane. After a while Zane and I go home but Sky stays to take care of Aphmau.
