Ch179-Food Trail

Thursday

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I'm awoken by Cadenza running around looking really worried.

"What's wrong Cadenza?" I ask

"Oh it's nothing, it should be taken care of soon" she replies

"Well alright, if you need help with anything you can ask me" I say

"Ok thank you. You should go get read for the day" Cadenza says smiling

I hop out of bed and grab my clothes. I can't push the thought of Cadenza looking so worried out of my head. I don't know what we are doing today so I guess i'll just dress casually. I take a shower and I use some coconut body wash.

I get dressed in a pair of Galaxy print leggings, a purple top and a pair of purple high tops. I brush my hair and I pull it into a low ponytail. I apply mascara, eyeliner and lime and coconut lipgloss. I then brush my teeth and spray on my perfume. When I am done I head out to the main room for breakfast.

Right now we are sitting around a few tables having breakfast. I'm having tea and a chic banana muffin. It is really good, I have bet Laurence at card 3 times, Garroth 4 and Dante 20. Dante isn't very good. Or he is letting me win because he wants me to notice him.

Cadenza seems a little stressed out today so I go ask her what is going on.

"It's really alright" she says

"Come on Cadenza I know you better, what's really going on?"'I ask

"Well, the thing we where going to do today is closed so we don't have anything. We still need to stay at the place we are driving to today though" Cadenza explains

"Hmm, let me see a few brochures" I say

We spend the next ten minutes figuring out where we are going to go. We decide on this food trail where we go to all tense different cultural places and try food. It looks really fun and delicious. I'm sure everyone will enjoy it.

We pack up everything and Cadenza tells everyone what we are doing today. They all seem really excited for the trip. We leave out the part where we mis planned today so people don't get worried or concerned.

We get into the cars and drive for a few hours. We are singing songs, playing truth or truth, having one or two small arguments and sleeping. We need to drive through Metelli to a different village.

When we get to the new village we all breath a sigh of relief. We go to the campsite and get our tents and camp spot. Some people are still waking up and as I'm walking back down to the car from the front desk I hear Garroth waking up Laurence by saying

"If you wake up now I'll help you sneak into Aphmau's tent"

I walk up behind him silently. Laurence opens his eyes and wakes up almost instantly. I tap Garroth's shoulder and he turns around.

"Sneak in my tent huh?" I ask

"W-well I only said that to wake him up, I wasn't going to actually do it" Garroth says nervously

"Uh-huh" I say suspiciously before I burst out in laughter

We go to the camp grounds and set up all of the tents and things. When we are done with everything we go back to the cars and start the food trail. We drive for a little bit and our first stop is a Pizza place.

We get a brief history of how the Pizza Margherita got its name. It ends with us trying a small piece of pizza with chorizo on it. It tastes very nice.

Next up we have a cheese place. We try all different kinds of cheese. Sky is lactose into,errant which means he can't have anything with milk in it. He looks a little disappointed about the cheese place.

"What's wrong Sky?" I ask

"I can't eat cheese because I'm lactose intolerant and I forgot my lacteese (it is a pill you can have to not have any side effects from drinking milk if your lactose intolerant)" he says

"Come on Sky, you know that I always pack lacteese whenever I go anywhere with you because you are always forgetting" I say throwing him a bottle of lacteese

"Thank you so much Aphmau" he says hugging me

I hug back and he seems to blush a little after he realises what he did. I wonder why?

The cheese here is very good but they also have all of this rhubarb things. Like rhubarb dip, rhubarb pasted, rhubarb vinegar and rhubarb coulis whips is a sweet sauce that goes on top of things like ice cream.

The food here is very good to but some of the cheese tastes weird. I guess I'm just not used to the taste of blue cheese or Camembert. I don't really like soft cheeses.

We go back to the cars and Cadenza ends up getting us a little lost because she was holding the map the wrong way. We pull over at a place that sells ice cream to try to figure out where we are. We go inside and just as we do it starts raining.

Dylan is talking about how he loves vanilla ice cream. Katelyn pretends to be offended becuase Vanilla took her place and Dylan's true love. This gets Kawaii-Chan's attention and she starts yelling out Dylnilla which is the ship name of Dylan and Vanilla.

We sit down and Cadenza and I study the map and we use the compass' on our phone to work out which way the map should point. The others order ice cream for us and they get me Salted caramel which is my favourite and Cadenza gets strawberry.

This ice cream is the best ice cream I think I have ever eaten. When Cadenza and I finally figure out where we are we explain to everybody. We missed an exit which is why we are on the wrong road. We go out of the shops and back to the cars.

We continue driving back and we get back on course pretty quickly. We head to the other food tasting places on the food trail and all the food is really good.
