Ch123-Our Fight

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I am going crazy. I'm still stuck in the Sorcerer's cave with nothing to occupy myself. The sorcerer is never here so that is good. It gives me time to work out where all the passages are and how to use the potions. What I find funny is that they have books down here. Made a out of coral though.

I have read most of the books so that gives me some insight to how all the potions work and what they do. I know that some of the potions will be helpful but others could make our fight harder.

The so ever thinks that I'm weak, innocent and frail. I could probably take him out right now. And I don't mean a movie and dinner. I'm just not going to because he needs to prop all pay for what he has done.

"Aphmau where are you?!" I hear him yell through the cave

I quickly swim fo my room so he doesn't know what I was up to. If he finds out I could be locked away, or worse.

"I'm in my room!" I yell back

He swims up to me and I pretend not to notice by reading a book. He wraps his arm around my shoulder but I ignore him.

"How is my beautiful bride?" He asks

I look at him, raise and eyebrow and turn back to my book.

"Still not speaking huh?" He asks

"I'll tell you what I told Prince Fenrir, I don't speak to idiots" I say smirking

"Who is Fenrir?" He asks confused

"It's a long story that I don't want to tell you" I reply

He lets go of me and swims in front of me. He pulls me to him and tried to kiss me. I punch him in the face and give him a blood nose. Did you know that mermaids have blue blood?

He holds his nose in agony and looks at me angrily.

"Why do you still reject me?" He asks

"Oh you have no idea do you?" I say sassily

"What?" He says confused

"Can you just leave me alone, please" I ask him angrily

"Fine, but I expect you to be at dinner tonight, not like the other nights where you haven't been" he says and swims out of my room.

I just realised, he has the strongest potions in his room. I could use those. Only problem is I don't know how to get in there. His room is always locked. I know where the key is so that's fine. I think I could actually do this I just need a distraction.

I hear something in my room so I look up from my book. I see Lucinda as a hologram.

"Lucinda?" I ask

"Oh thank Irene Aphmau, you are alright" she says relieved

"Lucinda, what are you doing here?" I ask her

"We need to know all you have learnt, we need to act fast" Lucinda tells me

I proceed to tell her about all the things I have found out about this cave. We decide to use our first plan. The one where we use a potion of blindness on him. I'm so excited. This guy has had it coming for ages.

I'm so excited about this. Punching him was a start but I want him to know what it feels like to be trapped. We need to free the King and Queen before we can put him on the dungeons.

We are going to put our plan into action tonight.

It's Quiet...

To quiet...

Theirs place has an eerie feeling at night. It is a cold and hard place. No warmth at all. Lazarus is asleep right now so I swim down to the cave enters nice where the others are waiting.

We sneak in and Lucinda hands me a potion of blindness.

"Don't get it on your self, splash it on Lazarus" she says

"Ok, I'll be right back, Garroth, Laurence I'm going to need you at the door to grab Lazarus and throw him in the dungeon. Lucinda, Cadenza and Arista you need to free the King and Queen. They are in the dungeons, second cell to the right" I say

We all leap into action. I swim as fast as I can into Lazarus' room. The door is locked but I use my water magiks to push the door down. Lazarus doesn't wake up so I swim over to him and splash the potion on him.

Lazarus jumps up and looks around even though he can't see anything. He tries to swim through the door but Laurence and Garroth restrain him. We swim down to the dungeons and lock him in a cell.

The potion wears off and he acts quickly. He swims up to the bars and grabs my hair. He pulls me to him and holds a knife to my throat.

"Free me or else I will cut your beautiful little friend into pieces" he says

Suddenly there is a overpowering bright light. I manage to escape while he is blinded. In my fist there is a ball of light. I open my hand towards him, my palm facing him, and I let the power go. The light surrounds him and it appears to purify him. Instead of a black tail he has a white tail with gold swirls.

I feel the power drain out from me and I faint.

Lucinda's P.O.V.

The sorcerer was really just a cursed merman. Aphmau purified him with her Irene powers. Garroth swims up to her and holds her so she doesn't fall to the ground. We look over at the sorcerer and let him out of the cell.

"I want to apologise for everything I did, I was not myself" he says sincerely

"We understand, how ever you will need to apologise to Aphmau because I doubt she will be very happy with you" I say

He agrees and we all swim out of the cave with the King and Queen. Tomorrow they will take back the throne. Our only concern now is, will Aphmau be alright?
