Ch196-Homework Attempts

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I wake up to Celestia licking my face. I absolutely love when she wakes me up like that. You can just feel the sarcasm. Anyway today is the day I promised myself I would do my homework. So what better to do than procrastinate and go for a walk? I should get ready first though.

I head into the kitchen and give Celestia some food. I have a cup of tee and I look out of the window while I drink it. Calm moments like this really make me think about my life and how far it has come.

A few months ago I was emotionally unstable and I was heart broken. Now I have friends that I consider my family, an adorable little dog, a great high school and a bunch of adventures. Maybe I should write a book? What would I call it? Phoenix Drop High School, ha no one will read a book with that title.

Anyway I finish drinking my tea and I head to the bathroom. I take a shower and then step out into my favourite towel. I get dressed in a purple shirt and blue overalls that are down on one side. I put on my purple high tops.

I brush my hair and leave it down with the top part of my hair pulled back. I apply mascara, eyeliner and lemon butter lipgloss. I brush my teeth and spray on some perfume. When I am happy with how I look I go downstairs and grab Celestia's leash.

Celestia sprints to the front door when I call her. I'm guessing she really wants to go for this walk. I clip on the leash and I open the door. Celestia loves going for walks, I mean what dog doesn't? We start walking down the street.

We walk through the forest trails around Phoenix Drop and we look, at the beautiful scenery. I notice someone walking towards us. Well more jogging. Oh wait it's Aaron. He isn't wearing a shirt, I know big surprise but he also isn't wearing a jacket. Luckily I'm kind of used to this so I can pretend I don't notice.

"Hey Aphmau" he says as he stops

"Hey Aaron, out for a morning run?" I ask

"Yeah I am, the weather this morning is really nice so I decided to go for a run" he replies

"Celestia and I are going for a walk" I say

"Cool, hey I heard about an anime convention and I was wondering if you wanted to go?" He asks

"Yeah sure" I reply

"Cool, I know a few other people are going" he says

"Ok, it sounds fun, I need to go so I have enough time to do my homework after this, haha" I laugh

"Ok, be careful, bye" he says as he smiles and leaves

I wave goodbye to him and watch him run off. Celestia suddenly starts to run and she pulls me along. What on earth could she be so interested about.

"Celestia what are you doing?" I ask

"Woof" she says

I let her pull me because she might have something important to show me. She continues running and eventually we end up at a small little clearing. I notice that there is another puppy here. Hmmm interesting, there is a collar which makes me think it ran away.

It is a male puppy with brown fur and white spots. It's really cute. Oh I think I know what's up, Celestia likes this puppy. AWWW it's a puppy love story. I wonder if the other puppy likes her back? I hope he does because it would be so cute.

Celestia and the other puppy run and play for a bit until we need to go home. She barks as if to say goodbye and we head off. When we get back to my house I clip Celestia's leash and go to my room.

I have a lot of homework to catch up on so I should probably get started. My phone dings and I don't think I could have been quicker to answer my messages and get away from homework. Huh it's from Garroth.

Garroth's P.O.V.

I am so glad that Aphmau can help me with my homework. I grab my stuff and I head over to her house. I knock on the door and she answers looking as beautiful as ever. She invites me inside and up to her room.

Being in Aphmau's room is like a really important thing. It means that she trusts you a lot. Or sometimes you go in but it's because of an emergency. Anyway we sit down and start the homework.

We are both stuck on the math homework because it makes absolutely no sense at all. I guess that's what happens when you miss a week. We work really hard but eventually give up. We decide to go to the park instead.

I leave my stuff at Aphmau's house because after we will come back here. We walk to the park and I notice that Jeffory is here. He always takes his sister to the park on Sunday's. Our friendship is a bit strained because he likes to show off about how he has an upper hand with Aphmau. Aphmau loves children and especially Abbey and he uses this to his advantage.

We walk over to them and Jeffory hugs Aphmau. Aphmau bends down to Abbey's size and hugs her. Jeffory is smiling at them and I glare at him.

"What's wrong Garroth?" He whispers

"What do you think?" I reply

"Is someone jealous?" He says

"No, I'm angry that you are... Umm" I say stuttering

"Hmm?" He says raising an eyebrow

"Shut up" I say

Aphmau and I stay at the park for a while, until the sun starts going down. Tomorrow we are going back to school which I'm really happy about because I want to get back to my education. We begin walking back to Aphmau's house.

When we get there Aphmau says that she will cook some dinner. I say I'll help and we do some cooking in the kitchen. We sit down and eat together. She gives me some leftovers and tells me to give them to Zane so he won't starve.

"Fine" I say as I hug her and leave

"Bye Garroth" she giggles

Well at least now Zane will get off my back about cooking him dinner. Maybe i should teach him how to cook?
