Ch124-The Crowning

Wednesday

Garroth's P.O.V.

Aphmau is still asleep. She looks so cute when she is asleep. No wait Garroth stop it, that's creepy. Anyway I hope Aphmau wakes up soon because the King and Queen are going to be taking back the throne today.

I understand that Aphmau used a lot of power when she purified that Lazarus guy. I just hope she is alright. Especially since she was held captive for a while to. That Lazarus guy will pay for what he has done, I don't care if he is good now he still needs to be punished.

I hear Aphmau moving and I look over to her. She opens her eyes and looks around confused.

"Where am I?" She asks

"Aphmau your awake, we are in the castle" I reply

"What happened?" she asks

I explain to her how se used her powers to purify Lazarus. How we freed the King and Queen and now they are letting us stay in the castle until we go back up to the surface. Aphmau gets up out of bed and she hugs me.

"What was that for?" I ask her

"Thankyou for taking care of me" she whispers

I smile and hug her back. After a while we let go and then head out to the main room where everyone else is. They all swim really fast and his Aphmau tightly.

"Aphmau thank Irene you are alright" Lucinda says

"I was so worried" Cadenza adds

A maid comes in and tells us that the crowning is starting. We all head out into the throne room to watch the King and Queen take back the throne.

The King and Queen walk through the aisle up to the thrones. They look down and smile at us. They sit on the throne and their crowns are placed on their head. They then get up to give a speech.

"My dearest mer people, we have recently not been able to rule this wonderful kingdom, we are deeply sorry about that fact" King Lagoon says

"We would like to thank Aphmau and her friends for freeing us" Queen Aqua states

A few servants put crowns made of flowers and seaweed on our heads. They actully look really nice. Aphmau is smiling a lot which makes me feel really good. I love it when she is happy.

Aphmau's P.O.V.

These flower crowns are so nice and they look so pretty. The King and Queen then leave the throne room and everyone follows. They lead us to the dining room and main hall where they have set up a party. We all dance the night away.

After a while I get tired so I go out to the balcony to calm down a bit. I feel the presence of someone behind me and I don't recognise who it is. I turn around and there is Lazarus.

"Oh hey, what's up?" I say

"What up? After everything I have done, all you say is what's up?" He says confused

"Well I'm not going to hold anything against you because you weren't really yourself" I say

"Thankyou" he says smiling

"No problem" I reply

"You know if you still want to be my bride, the offer is still open" he says

"I doubt she wants to marry you" I voice from behind him says I recognise the voice as Garroth's

"Who are you?" Lazarus asks turning to Garroth

"A very good friend of Aphmau's, now leave her alone" Garroth says glaring

Lazarus leaves and Garroth swims over to me

"Thanks Garroth, I didn't know how to deny him" I giggle

"It's alright" he replies

*Time Skip To Midnight*

Aphmau's P.O.V.

Right now I'm swimming up to the surface to look at the stars. I want to what the stars will look like with no ones light sources, I swim straight up to the top and I break the waters surface. I look up and see the beautiful stars.

Laurence's P.O.V.

I follow Aphmau up to the surface. She doesn't know I followed her though. She looks so beautiful with her hair flowing in the water looking up at the stars.

I tap Aphmau on the shoulder and she looks over at me and smiles softly.

"Hey Aph, what's up?" I ask her

"I'm just missing home" Aphmau replies

I wrap my arms around her and pull her towards me. She hugs me back and we share a moment.

Lazarus' P.O.V.

I swim up to follow Aphmau and Laurence to see what they are doing. For a little while I loose sight of them and when I see them again I see them hugging, I feel my heart breaking.

"Are they together? I should have known, Aphmau wouldn't have fallen for me, I'm just an evil sorcerer, well she wil, still have time to fall for me. She does live here in Oceana so I can just take my time right?

Aphmau's P.O.V.

Laurence and I rejoin the party and we dance together with the rest of our friends. We are all really enjoying ourselves however one thought is plaguing my mind. What do we do about going home?

We will need to talk about it a little later after the party has finished.

Aphmau's P.O.V.

We are all in my room and we are discussing what to do about going home.

"I think we need to go tomorrow, we can't miss any more school" Lucinda says

"I agree, we need to go back to the land because we could get in trouble" Cadenza agrees

We all agree to go to go home tomorrow because we need to catch up on school and I miss my friends.

Lazarus' P.O.V.

I can't believe this, Aphmau isn't from Oceana. She will be going home tomorrow, and then what? Will I ever see her again? I really hope I do. Maybe I could use a spell to take on a human form so I can go on land as well.
