Aphmau's P.O.V.
We wake up early in the morning with what feels like a bark cloud hanging over us. Today will be our last day in Japan. Kenmur and Emmalyn have told us that we will be able to go home tomorrow so we should walk around and do anything we want to do to day.
We get up and get our kimonos fixed by Lucinda then we get ready to go out. I get Celestia's leash and we head out. We walk through the main streets. We are stopped by fangirls again.
"Hello there, my name is Naomi, what's yours?" One girl asks Travis
"Who are the girls your with, is one of them your girlfriend?" Another asks
We push past them and leave the situation. I understand fangirls for movies, T.V. anime and Minecraft interactive role plays that are uploaded to YouTube in order to entertain people and people write fan fictions about the characters going to high school, but I don't understand why people ship people in real life.
We walk up to the hill where we first landed when we came here. We look over the whole town and all the people below. We spend a while up there just looking down onto the town. I have mixed feelings about going home. I want to go home so I can see my other friends but I don't want to because I will miss this place.
Why am I always being taken away on some crazy adventure. Maybe when I get home I should just stay home for a few days and rest so I can recover from everything I have been through lately. Then I can put a bit of thought into that person who called me and told me a little about Lady Irene.
Oh well. I look around and Lucinda is finding potion ingredients. Cadenza and Kawaii-chan are making flower crowns and Travis and Dante are making sure there are no fangirls around. I sit down with Cadenza and Kawaii-chan and join them in making flower crowns.
I finish a blue flower crown and I sneak up behind Dante. I put it on his head and he jumps a little. He turns around and smiles at me. He picks me up and hugs me really tightly.
"Ah Dante...Can't Breath" I say
He laughs and puts me down
"You need to wear that flower crown everywhere" I says
"Even around town?" He asks nervously
"Yeah, Dante, everywhere, you should appreciate what beautiful girls do for you" Travis cuts in
"Oh Travis I made one for you to" I say putting it on his head
He fake laughs and curses himself for putting himself in this situation. We all laugh at his sudden change in attitude. Lucinda comes back and she tells us something.
"Guys, I found a shrine, we should go inside" she says
"Lucinda, are you sure that's a good idea?" Cadenza asks
"Nope, now come on I'll show you the way" she says pulling me
We all follow her and we end up at a shrine and we look around. There are lots of beautiful trees and plants here but it feels so empty. We go inside and we see a few paintings and incense. This place seems abandoned.
Cadenza finds a book about different Japanese mythical gods and we all seem to find one that represents us. I really like Amaterasu who is the goddess of the sun. Cadenza told me that she feels connected to Am-No-Tanabata-Hime who is the Goddess of weavers. Kawaii-chan seems to like Uzume who is the goddess of joy and happiness.
Lucinda seems to be reading a lot about O-Kuni-Nushi who is the God of sorcery. Dante is looking at a painting of Taka-Okami who is the god of rain and finally Travis likes Kagu-Zuchi who is the god of fire.
"I have always felt a connection to fire because it is so hot,must like me, and fire and sun do go together" he says flirtatiously towards me
"Keep dreaming" I say
"Isn't it weird that all of the gods here seem to represent us in some way?" Lucinda asks
"Now that you mention it, yeah it is" Cadenza says
"Kawaii-chan found a book about this shrine, Aphamu-Senpai" Kawaii-chan says handing the book
I read it out loud.
"This shrine is the shrine off Gods. It has a special power, you will find a connection to a mythical god here who will guide you through your days" I say
"Wow that's deep" Dante says
"I think we should get back to Emmalyn and Kenmur" Lucinda says
We leave the shrine but I can't help but think bout it. I wonder if the magic of the shrine had anything to do with Lady Irene. I shake it off and we head back to the inn. We rest our legs and Cadneza teaches me embroidery. Suddenly we hear marching outside and someone comes into our room.
I'm not entirely sure what is going on but there are about 20 young Samurai. They look about my age. Why are they so young.
They look at us and we look back at them.
"Can we help you?" I ask them
"All young men are to report to the grand hall to begin training as samurai for the upcoming war"
One of them says looking at Dante and Travis
"We are about to leave Japan, we can't start training" Travis says
"You have to come, emperors orders" the leader says
"But we don't come from your country we don't have an emperor" Dante says
They look at each other and whisper. Then they leave. We look around really confused.
"What was that about?" Lucinda asks
Suddenly they come back
"You with the black hair" they say pointing at me
"Yeah?" I ask confused
"The head samurai wants you as his wife" one of them says
"Get out" I say with a stone cold expression
Suddenly they grab my arm and my friends and I leap into action. I won't say exactly what we did but the samurai will need a hospital. They drag themselves out. Forget what I said earlier, I can't wait to go home.
