Aphmau's P.O.V.
Right now I am in the auditorium with Katelyn. She is directing the play. We are about to start the auditions. I have been here since really early in the morning making schedules, posters and some other things for the play.
I have begged Katelyn to change the play but she won't budge, she says that she has always wanted to direct Romeo and Juliet.
We will call out the people auditioning for female roles first. Due to some things Missy is being forced to audition. I know that Katelyn dosen't exactly like her so this should be funny. She walks out on stage likes she is a discount model and she starts acting.
She is so bad. She sounds like a robot. I'm not entirely sure what to do but Katelyn seems to know.
"Missy, you can't act, please exit stage left" Katelyn says in a monotone
Missy turns bright red with anger
"Now you listen here you blue haired freak, if I'm going to audition I'm going to get a role" She says
I whisper to Katelyn
"Give her the role of a rock"
"Oh my Irene.... Yes" she whispers back
Katelyn turns back to Missy
"Alright Missy you get the role of rock 4" she says
"WHAT NO I WANT A REAL ROLE!" Missy yells
"It's a real role alright, you will be playing it, now please exit stage left" I cut in
Missy stories off stage and Katelyn and I laugh together.
"Next!" Katelyn yells
We get through all of the female auditioners. Cadenza, Kawaii-chan, Polly and lot of other girls performed. It is actully real cool to watch people act and show their talents. Katelyn calls a five minute break as we go over the female auditioners.
We narrow down the female auditioners but we still need to pick who will get the role. We call the remaining girls back onstage and have them improvise to show us how they can react if something goes wrong.
We decide who will get the role and who won't.
"Results will be posed on the notice board tomorrow morning" Katelyn says
The girls leave and it is the boys turn.
I have been dreading this. We have to pick who Romeo will be. Travis. Ross, Marsh, Laurence and Jeffory all come on stage. Katelyn asks them to act oit the balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet the traditional way without me there.
They start acting and they are actully really good. Next Katelyn asks me to go onstage. I listen to her and I stand where she tells me to. Katelyn tells them to act the balcony scene out but this time to modernise it.
Jeffory is up first.
"Yo Juliet, Want to Netflix and Chill?" He says
I grab my water bottle and bump it on his head.
"She said modern, not creepy" I laugh
"Well how about Starbucks?" He says smirking
"You have got five seconds to run" I reply
Katelyn is killing herself laughing, probably becuase Jeffory is her childhood friend.
"Alright next" she says through laughter
Laurence is up next and he pulled out his phone.
"LoL hi Juliet, where are you? I can't track yo-" Laurence starts
"What are you doing Laurence?" Katelyn asks him
"Texting" h ereplies "You said modern"
"Alright, next" she replies
Next is Ross
"She speaks. Oh, speak again, bright angel. You are as glorious as an angel tonighit" he says
His acting needs a little work but he is actully really good. It's just not modern enough even though some of the words have been replaced.
"That was very good, next" Katelyn says
Travis is next. And he bought a bunch of girls.
"Travis who are they?" Katelyn asks raising an eyebrow
"My fangirls" He replies
"HEY HE CAN'T BRING FANGIRLS THAT'S CHEATING!" Laurence and Jeffory yell
"Travis go ahead" Katelyn says
"She speaks. Oh, speak again, bright angel. You are as glorious as an angel tonight" he says smoothly
I have to say he is actully really good and kind of dreamy
Laurence's P.O.V.
"Wow, no wonder he was Romeo in allot of plays" I whisper to Jeffory
"Yeah no kidding, I do t think I can beat that" He replies
"Next" I hear Katelyn yell
It's Marsh, he has been raised to be polite and dreamy, I really don't think I will get the role"
Aphmau's P.O.V.
I watch Marsh walk out on stage. He looks at me and begins speaking.
"She speaks. Oh, speak again, bright angel. You are as glorious as an angel tonight"
He is absolutely amazing. I think I know who has the part. Katelyn gives him a standing ovation and soo does the rest of the audience.
"Marsh you have the part" Katelyn says
Marsh and I smile at eachother. I relise that this means I need to kiss him though.
