Ch56-Birthday Gift

Tuesday

Aphmau's P.O.V.

Today is a pupil free day so I can wake up on my own terms. I get up slowly and go downstairs. I watch the morning cartoons. I never have time for this on a school morning. 

I know I need to go shopping because I kind of want to get my Christmas shopping out of the way. Yes I go Christmas shopping in November, I'm one of those people. I also need new clothes and I want lollies so I'm going shopping.

I go upstairs and take a shower. I brush my teeth. My hair is a matterd mess so I spend about twenty minutes brushing and straightening it. I put on perfume, mascara, eyeliner, nude eyeshadow and apple and black current lip gloss.

The temperature is getting very cold now. This is expected to be our coldest winter ever so I need to dress warm.

I put on a pair of black jeans, a purple top and a blue leatherman jacket. I pull on purple high tops and I grab my money. I get into my car and I drive to the mall. I stop at Starbucks to get a green tea frappè. Not the best breakfast I know but it tastes amazing.

I head into a book store and I run into Jedd. (Jedd is one of the boys in Aphmau's friendship group, he is in the introduction and he has been mentioned in a few chapters). He is looking for a birthday present for Arianna but doesn't know what to get her. I offer to help and he accepts it.

We search around in a few stores and we eventually find ourselves at a Jewlery store. We walk in and we go up to the counter.

"And how may I help this lovely couple?" The assistant says

"Oh no- we're no- I'm just helping him" I say akwardly

"I need a present for my girlfriend" he says

"Ok, what's her favourite colour?" The cashed replies

We spend about ten minutes in the store and Jedd has chosen an obsidian charm bracelet. We walk out and he says goodbye and leaves. I got a small charm bracelet for all the girls in my friendship group but I still need something for all the boys.

I look around in a few stores but I can't decide on anything. I give up and I head to the lollie store. They are selling cute little Christmas chocolates. This is perfect. I get all of my group and the popular boys plus some extra people some of the chocolates. When all my shopping is done I head to a smoothie place.

Someone taps me on the shoulder and I turn around. It's Dante.

"Hi Dante, what are you doing here?" I ask

"Oh you know, just hunting elephants" he smirks

"I know your here for shopping, I meant specifically" I laugh

"Well, I'm actully looking for a birthday present for Garroth, say we are having a suprise party want to come?" He replies

"Sure" I say

"Great, we aren't sure on the details but when we finalise them we will tell you" He says

"What some help picking out a present?" I ask

"Sure" he replies

Why am I helping everyone pick out a present? Oh well. We head into a few stores and we eventually find ourselves at a pet store. I look at Dante and he looks at me. We are both thinking the same thing. We are going to get him a cat. We go up to the front desk and we put a cat on reservation (That's a thing right?) and we leave. 

Dante offers to buy me a smoothie and I agree. We head to the smoothie store and we each get a smoothie. I get pineapple and strawberry and Dante orders Lime and Mango. We talk about random things and he mentions he has a YouTube channel. I do to. I subscribe to him and he subscribes to me.

When we have finished our smoothies we say goodbye and hug. I walk back to my car and I drive home. When I get home I bring all my shopping in and I put them all away. The chocolates are in the fridge and the charm bracelets are in my room. I also got Garroth a book for his birthday present.

Suddenly a massive crash is heard downstairs and I rush downstairs. A car accident has happend. Garroth, Vylad and Zane are also outside. We work together to get the people out. Almost everyone is ok. On small baby has to many fatal injuries. I reach out to touch him and there is a flash of bright white light. 

We hear a baby giggle and I look down. The baby is compleatly healed. Did I do that? The people are rushed to the hospital. I begin to head home but I don't feel right. I feel like all the energy has been drained out of me. Eventually darkness takes over and I faint.

Garroth's P.O.V.

I can't believe what just happend. I didn't know Aphmau could heal and I don't think she did either. She dosnt look right. She looks really pale. She almost falls to the ground but I catch her. You can see the jealousy on Vylads face. 

I carry Aphmau inside to me place and I put her on my bed. We all watch over Aphmau and we make sure she is ok. I hold her hand and Zane and Vylad leave. I know there jealous. When Aphmau wakes up I hug her tightly.

"I was so worried" I whisper

"W-What happend?" She says confused

I explain all that happend and she nods. She tells me that she didn't know she could heal people. She ends up staying for dinner. She is unusually quiet. Vylad asks her what's wrong and she says that she is just a little tired but I know it's more.

After dinner I ask her what's really wrong. I know she trusts me more than a lot of people. She tells me it's because she didn't know that she had powers. I hug her and tell her that everything will be alright. She hugs me a little tighter.

"Please don't go" she says softly

"I'm not going anywhere" I say

I lean down to her face and I kiss her. We hear someone come up the stairs and we pull away quickly. It's Zane. He is just checking to make sure that Aphmau is alright. He then leaves and Aphmau and I look at each other and laugh.
