Ch176-Elemental

Monday

Aphmau's P.O.V.

We wake up uncomfortably in our tents, who knew sleeping on the floor could give you such horrible back pains. Cadenza and I shared a tent last night so we both grab our things and go to get ready.

I take a shower and I think I'm lucky that I'm short because the sower heads seem very low. I take a shower but it's not very warm since there is cold air around me. Even in the bathroom it's freezing.

I get dressed I a pair of purple leggings, lose black t-shirt, a black hoodie and a pair of purple flats. I brush my teeth. I brush my hair and I pull it into a ponytail. I apply mascara, eyeliner and strawberry lemonade lipgloss. I spray on some perfume and then I pack all of my things away.

We go back down to the tents and start to pack ours up. Everyone else is just starting to wake up and they are shocked by the cold. I'm glad I'm already finished getting ready because I should warm up a little bit.

Cadenza and I finish packing up our tent just as some of the others come out of the bathrooms. We head up to the dining room where the campsite owners have set up some breakfast. Which is some cereal and milk.

I make some tea for myself and we all sit down in a circle on the floor. Cadenza tells everyone what we are doing today.

"Ok today is the last day of solid driving, tomorrow we have a few listed stops planned" Cadenza explains

Oh I see today we are driving and n tomorrow we have planned a few stops. We should probably get going though because we done want to be late.

We head to the cars and join the call through Bluetooth.

"Is it working?" I hear Garroth say through the speaker

"Yeah it is, now we get to hear Laurence the whole trip, hooray" Cadenza says sarcastically

"Shut up Cadenza" we hear Laurence yell

I look out window and Laurence's car is next to ours. Laurence isn't driving so he is glaring at Cadenza. I tell Cadenza and she almost does a very rude hand gestures towards Laurence but Lucinda stops it before this becomes a massive fight.

We continue driving when we come across a forest. It doesn't look normal, the trees are rainbow and they seem to be sparkling.

"APHMAU-SENPAI CAN WE STOP AT THE RAINBOW TREES?" Kawaii-chan asks

"I mean, we can if everyone else is ok with it" I say

I head a bit of whispering and then everyone gives their answer.

"I think we should" I hear Ross say

"We will to" Garroth says

We pull over at the forest and get our. We get our cameras ready and we take a photo in front of all the rainbow trees. We go in and inside there are a bunch of small podiums. They each have a symbol on them.

We all seem to be drawn to different ones. I'm drawn to a blue podium with a symbol like a water droplet on top of it. I look around and all of the podiums seem to have a symbol of an element on them. Hmm this might be an elemental forest.

"Lucinda this is an elemental forest" I say

"You are correct, the element you are closes to is the element that is yours" Lucinda explains

I touch the podium and a blue bracelet appears on my wrist. I inspect the bracelet and it looks like it's made out of lapis lazuli and sapphire. There is a water drop symbol on it made out of aquamarine which is very pretty.

I look around and the others have bracelets to. The boys have bracelets as well but they look a little different to ours. They are all different colours. We look around the forest a little more and we take some photos.

When we are done in the forest we head out and we get back to driving. The day is starting to heat up so I take off my hoodie. Cadenza is driving this time so I have an opportunity to look around a bit more.

I notice that I feel a little stronger. It's weird.

"Does anyone else feel that they are stronger?" I ask

"What do you mean?" Katelyn asks

"Ever since we go the bracelets I have felt much stronger" I say

"I do actually, I feel much more powerful" Lucinda asks

"I think the bracelets give people power and strength, not only physical but mentally as well" Zane says through the Bluetooth

"I think you are right, I feel like my mind is clearer" Jin says

I wonder if these bracelets really give power. I'm sure they do because I never felt this strong before.

We continue driving the whole day until we get to the camp site, we are going to be staying in cabins and they have a better shower than the ones at the other camp site.

We check in and get our cabins, we all hang out in the main area on the campsite. There are a few schools that aren't on school holidays here as well. We make sure we don't get in the way of their trip.

The students are complaining about the food which makes me a little worried but we have to eat it. We get our food and it is steak, mashed potato, carrots and a small ice cream cup for desert. The meat is to cooked properly so we don't eat it.

Over all the food wasn't horrible but it wasn't good either, it wouldn't last an inspection. When we have finished dinner we put our scraps in the bin and out plates and cups on the dirty tray.

We hang out in the main room and I notice that Dylan and Katelyn are very close.

"Hey Lucinda, $20 says that they will kiss" I whisper to Lucinda

" $40 says they won't , they are both so shy" Lucinda whispers back

We subtly watch them and eventually they kiss. Lucinda rolls her eyes and pays me $40. I'm glad I made this bet. But I'm sure that Lucinda feels the opposite way. But seriously Katelyn and Dylan are so cute together.
