Sunday night - Monday
Aphmau's P.O.V.
Lucinda and I swim back to Arista's house. We call everyone into the room and tell them about what happened in the cave and what we found out. About how we found the King and Queen, and how the sorcerer has a plan to take over the ocean.
"We need a plan" Lucinda says
"I think we should attempt to distract the sorcerer and then some other people can sneak in and free them" Laurence suggests
"No, I don't think that that will work, he seems to know where everyone is at all times" I say
"Yeah I saw it myself, we need a plan that he won't see coming" Lucinda says
"He won't see coming....hmm" Cadenza says as though she is thinking hard
"What is is Cadenza?" I ask
"I HAVE GOT IT! A POTION OF BLINDNESS!" She yells
"Well I have not got potions of blindness but I can make some with the corals and seaweed, but how will it help?" Lucinda asks
"If he can't see he can't do anything, we can then knock him out and lock him in the dungeons" Cadenza explains
"I think that it might actually work" Garroth says
"If we play this right we have a chance of taking back the sea" Arista tells us
"We need to know more about this ocean before we can save it, we don't know our way around this place" I say
"Well you might draw attention to yourself if you go around during the light ours but if you go out during dark hours then not many people will see you" Arista explains
"Shame there isn't a moon down underwater for a little more light in the dark" Lucinda says
"What is a moon?" Arista asks
"You don't know what the moon is?" I ask her shocked
She shakes her head and we end up spending the next hour explaining a heap of human human things to her while we wait for the ocean to get dark. When the ocean has fallen dark we go out to look around.
Lazarus' P.O.V.
Haha, my beautiful bride-to-be who's name I have learnt to be Aphmau, is trying to work against me. Little does she know that I know exactly what she I'd doing. I know she thinks I know what's going on in my cave however I know what is going on in the ocean everywhere.
Well I think I need to show her just how powerful I am. I think I might attack the kingdom just to show how powerful I am to my soon to be bride. If she doesn't fall for me I can always just use a potion or kidnap her.
However there are those two male mermans she is with. I have seen the way that they look at her. They won't stand in my way. No one will.
Aphmau's P.O.V.
We search around the city and familiarise ourselves with the massive kingdom. We swim around for a while and we map out most of the city. We need to know ways to quickly escape and ways to trap Lazarus if we need to.
After a while we are all getting tired so we head over to Arista's place and fell asleep. Sleeping underwater was such a weird feeling but it isn't a bad feeling. I felt like I was flying. Although I can't help but feel a dark presence. I fall asleep to quickly to do anything about it.
I wake up to screaming. We all swim to the windows and we see dark tornadoes underwater destroying the village. We see lots of big fish casing mer people out of their homes. I am shaking bout luckily Lucinda acts quickly. She grabs all the things we will need and we swim out of the hose.
We go to the bottom of the ocean which isn't very deep because we aren't to far off the coast of Phoenix Drop. We need to swim away because we know that Lazarus is behind this. We swim as far away as we can and then we rest. We stay hidden in the colourful corals.
Overhead there are massive sharks looking for up. Damn Lazarus knows we saw what was going on and we escaped.
"Guys, we need a new plan" Cadenza says
"We do, ugh I have nothing" Arista says frustrated
"I could be used as bait" I say
"No way Aphmau" Laurence says protectively
"Think about it, Lazarus wants me to join him so if we trick him into thinking I'm on his side and then I can learn about what he is really up to and how we can stop him" o say
"No way" Laurence says
"Laurence, We know Aphmau is right" Garroth says
"Just... be careful alright?" He says hugging me
"I will" I reply
I hug everyone and then I swim back to the kingdom.
"LAZARUS STOP THIS!" I yell
Lazarus comes out from behind a large building and smirk is at me.
"I will stop, but on one condition, you become my bride" he says
Perfect, he is falling into the trap.
"Alright, I'll do it" I say pretending to be sad
I mean I'm not happy to marry him but I won't actually marry him so it's fine. All that's left to do now is figure out how to stop him. This shouldn't be to hard.
He takes be back to his cave and then he swims out again.
"Don't bother trying to escape, I will find you" he says and leaves
When he is gone I sneak into his room and start searching through things, I find a lot of rare potion ingredients which Lucinda would love. I also find heaps of potions. I find it funny that he thinks I have never been in this situation before, I don't intend to just stand by and let someone else save me this time.
