Ch183-The Rock Pools

Monday

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I wake up to Kawaii-Chan jumping on my bed. She seems very excited about something. Hmm think Aphmau what could she be excited about? It's not some kind of special day, it isn't a holiday. Ugh I can't think.

"Kawaii-Chan why are you so excited?" I ask her rubbing my eyes

"Kawaii-Chan is excited because today is the day we go to the beach!" Kawaii-Chan says

Oh yeah we are going to the beach today. The weather is going to be really warm and sunny today so it is the perfect time to go to the beach.

I should probably get up now and go get ready. I grab my bag with all my clothes and other things that help me get ready and I head to the bathrooms.

I take a shower and I use my coconut body wash. I hop out of the shower and dry myself off. I put on my purple and blue bikini and my purple bather shorts over the bottoms. I put on a blue dress that is very casual. I put on blue jewels sandals.

Then I brush my teeth and put on water proof mascara and eyeliner, and English toffee lipgloss. I spray on my perfume and then I brush my hair, I bull it into a high ponytail and I curl the ends. When I am done getting ready I join everyone for breakfast.

Celestia is sneaking around under the table looking for some food scraps and a giggle a little. I give her a bowl of her favourite dog food and she licks my cheek. Aww she is so cute.

Zane's P.O.V.

I am watching Aphmau and she is giggling when Celestia is liking her. Most people wouldn't want a dog Li King them and they would get angry but Aphmau is different. She is so sweet and kind. I know that she is a bit stressed out because Lucinda and Katelyn are arguing.

I used to dislike Aphmau because I thought she was like Garroth's ex grub friends who only dated him for money and popularity but Aphmau proved herself to be different. Now I feel strongly for her. I feel a way I never thought I would feel. I am in love with Aphmau. She was the first girl to ever show me kindness. Well except my mother.

I have never felt this way about a girl before. Aphmau accepts me for who I am. Ponies and all. I'm just worried about the amount of competition I have.

Aphmau's P.O,V.

When we have finished breakfast we head to the car. I notice that Lucinda and Katelyn won't even look at each other. They must really dislike each other right now. Maybe I should ask them to make up. No that might make them even madder at each other.

We drive following a river and the river opens into a lake. We can see where the lake meets the ocean and there is a small beach. It looks so beautiful. We go to a look out to take some photos. When we are done Cadenza guides us to the caravan park we are staying at.

We check in and get our cabin number and then we go to the cabins. Travis attempts to share a cabin with me but it doesn't work because Lucinda is very over protective.

"Travis if you ever try to make a move on Aphmau I will turn you into a cat" Lucinda says

"Understood" Travis says as Lucinda lets him go

He runs over to the boy's cabin and Lucinda and I laugh.

Katelyn's P.O.V.

Damn it Lucinda, I could have helped Aphmau and that would have made Lucinda very angry and jealous. I need to figure out how to get back at Lucinda. Anyway we organise our sleeping arrangements and then we get going to the beach.

The beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear. The waves look very strong and they look like they would knock Aphmau over in a second. There are also a bunch of rock pools that look really interesting.

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I lay my towel down on the sand and I take off my dress. I have my bathers underneath so it's fine. I walk over to the water with everyone and we all jump in. The water is freezing cold but we star in it anyway.

We run around and splash each other. The wakes are very strong and I am knocked over. I am picked up by someone and I laugh and cough at the same time. I open my eyes to be met with clear blue ones. It's Zane.

"You alright Aphmau?" He asks

"Yeah I'm fine" I say while coughing

We decide to get out of the water and we walk over to the rock pools. We climb over, under and through the rock pools looking for animals. I notice something shining in one of the rock pools and I look down.

I see a shining necklace in the pool. I pick it up and I inspect it. It hasn't rusted at all. It is a silver chain with a red gem in the shape of a heart. I can't help but feel I have seen this somewhere before. I'll give it to Lucinda to inspect later.

Cadenza yells out that she found a starfish and I run over to her. She picks the starfish up and we decide to name him. We call him Fred. I think he is pretty cute. Cadenza places him back in the water and we continue our search.

We find some sea anemones which look really weird. There are sea snails that are moving around and sticking their heads out. There are also some small fish in every colour of the rainbow. Suddenly I feel myself falling back.

This is bad if I fall back I'll crack my head on the rocks. I brace for impact and instead I feel myself being held an a pair of strong arms.

"You alright Aphmau?" I hear Aaron say

I open my eyes and breath a sigh of relief

"Yes I am, thank you for catching me" I say

"Anytime, I told you that I would always be here for you" Aaron replies smiling

How sweet of him. But this position is a little embarrassing so I stand up and we continue searching through the rock pools. We don't find anything of extreme awesomeness so we decide to head back to the caravan park and have some hot chocolate.
