Aphmau's P.O.V.

I wake up very quickly. Today is the first day of Spring. I am so happy. I can finally stop always needing to dress warm. It is still a bit cold outside but is has gotten a lot warmer. I go to my couch and watch the Sunday morning cartoons.

Celestia comes up and cuddles next to me. We are watching Our Little Horsies when my phone gets a message.

C-I was wondering if you wanted to go down to the docks with us today?

A-Sure, who is going?

C-Lucinda, Laurence, Garroth,

A-Cool, I'll be there soon

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I walk to the bathroom and take a shower. I brush my teeth and comb my hair. I leave my hair down again. I wear my bathing suit under my clothes I wear a pair of black shorts and a purple flowery top, purple heeled sandals and a amethyst bracelet. I apply waterproof mascara, eyeliner and watermelon lipgloss.

I feed Celestia breakfast and then I head down to the docks. Garroth, Cadenza and Laurence are already there waiting. We look over the ocean and talk about what we all want to do today. Suddenly we see something in the water.

Garroth steps in front of me and we look down into the water. I think it is some type of big fish. It is red and green. Although I can't really make it out. I'm very confused because it seems to be bigger than most fish.

Suddenly the fish breaks the water. Only it isn't a fish. Well it is, kind of. It is a mermaid. She has a green tail and red hair. She has a red swirly pattern all over her skin.

"Hello" she says

We just look at each other in shock.

"Hello" she says again a little more agitated

"Umm hello?" I say

"Ah good, I can speak your language" she says smiling

"You're a mermaid?" I ask her

"Yes, my name is Arista, now I need your help" she says

"Umm with what?" Cadenza asks

"The underwater kingdom of Oceania is in grave danger" she says sadly

"What happened?" Laurence asks

"Long ago the King Lagoon and Queen Aqua of Oceana ruled with happiness, but one day they went missing. The Queens sister Marina had to step up to rule the kingdom, she is horrible. She is ruling the city by forcing people to do things and throwing mer-folks in the dungeons. I fear that the kingdom will die and everyone will be forced to leave. I think she is being controlled by an evil sorcerer" Arista explains

"What do you want us to do?" I ask her

"Please come down to Oceania and find the King and queen" Arista asks

"We would, but we aren't mermaids" I tells her

"Actually I think Lucinda has a potion for this, let me text her" Cadenza says

Cadenza texts Lucinda to bring some potions and so she does. After a little while Lucinda has a lot of potions and she is deciding which one to use. She eventually decides and she gives us a potion each. We during the potion and then sit on the edge of the docks.

I feel a little weird but I don't feel any pain. My legs fuse together to make a tail. It is covered in purple scales. I have a purple, clam shell bra on. My hair has purple streaks in it and some pearls. I dive into the water and I realise that I can breath underwater,

I look around and I see everyone else as a mermaid to. Arista has a gleam of hope in her eyes and she hugs me.

"Thank you so much, now let me take you to Oceana" she says

She dives down into the water and so do we. We are shocked at how clear we can see everything. I just realised that Garroth and Laurence aren't wearing any shirts. I blush and try to ignore it.

We swim for a while and eventually make it to a place that has rainbow coral. It is very beautiful. Arista shows us some more of the barrier reef and then we continue on or way.

The kingdom of Oceana is massive. I am shocked by the amount of mermaids and mermen here. Arista takes us to her house. She is from a very rich family underwater so she has a very big house even though she lives alone.

We go into a really big room and Arista shows us a crystal ball.

'This will help us find the King and Queen" she says

"I just realised that we left without telling anyone" I say panicked

"Oh don't worry, I messaged everyone to tell them where we are, also Kawaii-chan is going to take care of Celestia" Cadenza tells me

"Oh thank Irene" I say with relief

"Now let's continue, first we need to look around the castle" Arista tells us

She shows us the castle but she says that she can't see inside, we are going to need to go inside. We get ready and swim to the castle gate,

Laurence's P.O.V.

Aphmau look so beautiful as a mermaid. I think she looks so nice because the colour purple suits her. I really want to tell her but I won't just now because of everything that is going on, poor Arista, her kingdom has been taken over by a sorcerer controlling the queen.

We need to find the other King and queen so they can reclaim the throne and make this evil sorcerer pay for what he has done. I think the scariest thing right now is figuring out how to get past the palace guards. This could go so wrong in so many ways.
