Ch188-Snowy Mountains

Saturday

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I wake up to an air horn being blown in my face. I open my eyes and I see a very foggy Barney and Goat, I glare at them and Barney laughs. I'm not really sure what goat is doing. It's kind of hard to tell considering the fact he is a goat.

They run off to go prank other people and wake them up. Apparently it's a tradition to wake people up with air horns in the last day of a holiday in Barney's home country. It's weird I know but I don't judge. Now rant I am woken up I should probably go get ready.

I know that today we are going in the mountains to hike so I should probably dress warm. I have this adorable purple jacket that would be perfect. Wait I have purple everything. Oh well purple is my favourite colour.

I head to the showers and I take one. I stay in there for a while contemplating life and how the universe works. I think I found out that the key to world happiness is bacon once but looking back I probably needed to think it through a bit more.

I step out of the shower and get dressed. I put on a pair of thick black pants, a purple t-shirt, a blue jumper and my purple jacket. I put on purple high tops. I apply mascara, eyeliner and macadamia lipgloss. I spray on my perfume. I brush my teeth and when I am ready I he dining room for breakfast.

When breakfast is over we pack up everything and put them all in the car. Laurance and Garroth are having an argument over who is stronger. They act like such children sometimes. Who are they even trying to impress?

We start driving and we drive on the windy roads through the mountains. I start feeling a bit car sick and I rest my head on Aaron's shoulder. He doesn't do anything except move a little closer. I'm glad I can just rest at this moment.

Aaron's P.O.V.

Aphmau is laying on my shoulder and I have honestly never felt better. I still have a straight face on the outside but on the inside I'm fangirl screaming and jumping up and down. Garroth who is also in the same car is giving me a pretty scary glare.

However I don't really bother with him. I know he likes Aphmau which makes me protective of her but I don't want to control her. Besides she isn't dating me anyway. Well yet that is.

Aphmau's P.O.V.

We arrive at the snowy mountains and I can already see the pure white snow on the tops of the mountain. I get off of Aaron who seems to be blushing a little and I get out of the car. We walk over to the sports centre which is where we buy tickets to go on the ski lift and bobsledding.

We buy our tickets and walk over to where the ski lift starts. We get into pairs and Zane who just so happens to be standing next to me asks me.

"Hey Aphmau want to be a pair?" He asks

"Um sure" I say a little nervous

The truth is that I'm a little nervous about the ski lift. It goes up so high and there is nothing to hold us in except a metal bar. Zane seems to notice I'm scared and he puts his hand on my shoulder and smiles softly at me which is calming.

This lady tells us to stand on some numbers painted on the floor which is where we will be sitting. The chair comes and it slows down. We sit down on the chair and the bar is bought over the top of us.

The chair starts to speed up a bit and the air feels cold against my face. The chair is swinging a little in the wind and I grab Zane's hand. He looks a little unsettled to so I'm glad I'm not in this all alone. I look around a bit and the scenery is absolutely amazing.

The chair lift reaches the top and we get off. We begin to walk through the mountain in a metal path. There is snow so the metal path makes things a lot easier. It's a bit slippery but we just can't run so it's alright.

We continue walking until we are about halfway to catch our breath. We still have about 4km to go before we reach the top and the view is already amazing. It is very cold and windy though. When we have finished our break we continue walking up the mountain.

We get to the top and it feels amazing. Barney bought goat because apparently he is a mountain goat. Honestly with those two I can never really tell.

At the top of the mountain up the air is really cold. The snow is really soft to walk on and I make a small snowball. When Travis isn't looking I throw it at him and turn around to pretend I didn't throw it.

This starts a massive snowball war and it is so much fun. I build a small snow fort and stay there making snowballs. Kawaii-Chan hides in my snow fort with me. We wait until the perfect moment and we run out throwing snowballs.

After Kawaii-Chan and I win the snowball fight we walk back down the mountain. We are walking with the wind at our back so it is much easier to walk. At the end of the trail which is also the start there is a cafe. We go in and have some hot chocolate.

We go back down on the ski lift and it is so scary actually facing the height instead of having your back towards it. I am so happy when we can get off because that was absolutely terrifying. We wait for everyone and head over to where bobsledding is.

We get our bobs leads and we slide down a very steep hill on them. It is going so fast and I am really scared but it is also so fun. This is the greatest day I have had on the road trip, I'm so sad that it is almost over.
