Ch2-The Park

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I wake up with a big stretch like how they do it in those commercials. I don't wake up looking perfect but hey at least I can pretend.

I walk to the bathroom and have a shower, brush my teeth, and do my hair. I walk out of the bathroom and walk into my walk-in wardrobe. I pick out a purple t-shirt blue shorts and black boots.

I put on a bit of blush, mascara and eyeliner. I'm not one for makeup but it's my first day in this neighbour hood so I may as well look nice.

I decided to go to the park today so I can meet some new people and look around the neighbor hood. Walking out the door I see Zane lying in his front garden reading.

"Hey Zane" I say but he doesn't reply.

I walk of down the street and find the park. It was beautiful. There where orange, red and brown trees considering it was Autumn (fall) and green grass. There was a cobblestone path leading up to a playground and there are benches all around.

I see an icecream truck and a little girl with blond hair crying because she dropped her icecream. I feel bad so I go up and talk to her.

"Hey did you drop your icecream" I say in a soft voice

"Y-y-yes my b-brother bought i-i-it for me" she says through tears

"Hey don't worry I'll buy you another one, what would you like?" I say softly

"R-really? C-can I have strawberry?" She asks

"Sure" I say grabbing my handkerchief and I dry her tears

We walk up to the icecream truck and buy her an icecream.

"Thank you so much" she giggles

We sit down on a park bench and I ask her where her brother is. She says he went to the toilet. I told her I'll stay with her until her brother comes.

"What's your name?" She asks "Mine is Abby"

"My name is Aphmau" I giggled "you are so cute" I hug her and she hugs back

Then someone walks up to us. He has brown hair and green eyes.

Jeffory's P.O.V.

As I come out of the toilet I see my little sister crying and crouching over her dropped icecream. I was walking up to her but then I saw a beautiful girl with tan skin, silky black hair and caramel eyes. She bends down next to her and asks her if she wanted another icecream.

My sister Abby immediately stops crying and giggles. The girl walks up to the icecream truck and buys her another icecream. She actully looks really pretty and she does have a nice personality. As I walk up to the when they are sitting on a park bench I hear that her name is Aphmau. Heh a pretty name for a pretty girl.

"Hey I'm Jeffrey and this is my sister Abby" I say gesturing to Abby

"Hello my name is Aphmau it's nice to meet you" she smiles with a perfect smile

"Thank you for buying my sister an icecream" I say grateful

"Don't worry about it, I just don't like seeing people sad" she says in her smooth angelic voice

She was perfect I decided to give her a kiss on the cheek to say thank you. She blushes and giggles.

"What was that for?" She asks

"My way of saying thank you" I reply

Garroths's P.O.V.

I come to the park to meet up with Zennix and when I walk in I see Jeffory who is a member of my group at school kiss Aphmau on the cheek. W-WHAT? WHY IS HE KISSING APHMAU IS HE HER BOYFRIEND? Damn the good ones are always taken.

I see Aphmau get up and wake to him. She walks to the exit and says hi to me as she walks past.

"H-hi" I say stuttering

When she leaves I go up to Jeffory and ask him what that was all about. He tells me about what Aphmau did and it warms my heart. I knew Aphmau was a kind person and not what Zane thinks she is.

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I walk out of the park and begin walking home. When I get there I see Zane who is still out in his garden.

I walk up to the fence and say hi

He don't reply. That's when I got annoyed so I snapped at him.

"Is something wrong because if not then you are actully being really rude" I say sassily

I wait for a reply

Zane's P.O.V.

I'm reading in my front garden and I see Aphmau walk up and say hi. I ignore her. She then tells me that I'm being really rude so I decide to test her to see who she really is.

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" I ask

If she only wants us for money and looks then she will say yes and then I will know that she is fake  like all the other girls. It's what's going to happen and there is no changing that. I will be proven right as always.

"No thank you I'm good" I hear her reply

Heh see I was... WAIT WHAT?! SHE DIDN'T SAY YES?!

"I'm going to go now" she says and walks away

I watch her enter her house and I feel guilty. I judged her without knowing her just like Garroth said I did. I decided that I need to apologise but I want it to be meaningful so I go to the back garden and pick some of the purple roses. I decide to make a bouquet.

*1 hour later*

Aphmau's P.O.V.

I hear a knock at he door so I walk up and answer it. When I open the door I see a bouquet of purple roses. Behind them I see Zane.

"I want to apologise for how I acted before" he says

"It's fine I shouldn't of snapped at you" I replied "Would you like to come inside for some tea?"

"Sure"he says

Zane's P.O.V.

I accept her offer for some tea and I come inside her house. She has decorated it nicely with different shades of purple, blue and white.

She puts the roses in a vase with some water and puts it on the kitchen table.

"There so beautiful, thank you" she says smiling

"No problem I just felt really bad" I reply

We sit down and I tell her about why I asked her to be my girlfriend. I expected her to get really mad but she just nodded and said she understood how I felt.

She is actully really nice and caring. She has a really good sense of humor and she is really fun to be around. Time flew by and it was getting late.

"I have to go, but it was really fun hanging out with you"I say

"Yeah we should do it again some time, thank you for the roses again" she reply walking me to the door

"Bye" I say

"Bye" she replies

As I walk away I see Garroth looking out his window and frowning at me. OMI is he jealous? Haha this is hilarious. When I get home Garroth is waiting for me.

"Why where you at Aphmau's house?"

"I was just giving her some roses and we had some tea" I reply "Turns out you where right about her"

He scowls and walks away. It was kind of fun messing with him and his jealousy. I walk into my room which is spotless. It has a black there with white accents and decorations. I can see Aphmau in her room putting photos on her wall. I can see a photo of her with a boy. W-WAIT WHAT WHY DOES SHE HAVE A PHOTO LIKE THAT IS HE HER BOYFRIEND?!

Heh so this is jealousy I say closing the blinds. I try and shake it off but I can't stop thinking about that photo.
