Chapter 1

I slunk in the shadows, hidden throughout them.

"Ally." Someone behind me taunted.

"I have to go back again." I grumbled.

I turned around to see my tormentor on the ground, a girl standing above her with my notebook.

Her blonde hair hung loosely on her shoulders. Brown eyes smiling brightly as she handed me my notebook.

"Thanks." I mumbled.

"Can you come with me?" She asked.

"Leaving high school with a stranger, not something my mom would like." I said, lying about my mother.

"My name's Lucy, now I'm not a stranger. I have some friends you should meet." She said.

I started to mumble something when my tormentor started getting up.

"I'm coming!" I yelled grabbing her hand and running outside.

"Why don't you just stand up to them?" Lucy asked.

"They steal my stuff and hurt me." I whispered.

"Just fight then." Lucy replied.

"Then I would get suspended!" I exclaimed.

"Why would that matter? Your a wizard! You have so many possible outcomes for life!" She exclaimed.

"Wizard?" I asked.

"Too soon?" She mumbled.

"Lucy, you need to stop rushing things in missions." A boy behind us said.

I sprung into action and tackled him to the ground.

"Who are you?! What do you want with me?!" I yelled.

"Chill out! I'm with Lucy!" He exclaimed.

"Oh." I mumbled, standing up.

"That's Gray, part of my team!" Lucy exclaimed excitedly.

He was tall and had dark blue hair and dark navy blue eyes.

We continued walking and I looked at my feet.

"Something wrong?" Another guy asked putting an arm around me.

I spun and twisted his arm, pinning it against his back.

He had spikey pink hair and hazel eyes.

"Calm down!" Another girl yelled.

I turned around and saw a girl with long red hair and dark brown eyes.

"Blind people are a bit more aware of their surrounding than others." She said. "Ally, I'm Erza and this is Natsu. They are part of the team as well. Now where did Happy go?"

"You mean that blue cat flying above us?" I asked.

"How'd you know that?" Natsu asked.

"I'm not blind if that's what your asking!" I yelled. I slammed my hands to my eyes. "Why does everyone think that?" I asked.

"Your not? What about the white eyes?" Lucy asked.

"Honestly I think we were all fooled." Gray said.

Erza nodded behind me.

"Happy! It's all good down here!" Natsu yelled.

Happy flew down and landed on the ground next to him.

"So what do you guys want me for? Of all people, me?" I asked.

"Well, we are on a mission to get you so we can bring you to our guild cause you supposedly are very strong." Happy said.
