Chapter 8

Ally's P.O.V
Tears were forming up in his eyes from the memories.

I saw everything replaying in his eyes.

*Flashback*
"Natsu! Look it's snowing!" I exclaimed.

"Cool!" He replied.

"I love snow, so cold and mysterious." I said.

"If we were to ever get married or something I would make sure a snow wizard was there, just to make you happy." He said.

"Aww, Natsu!" I exclaimed and hugged him.

Suddenly a deep growl came from deep in the cave.

It grabbed me and pulled me close to it.

"Natsu! My wings!" I cried.

He tried everything to unfreeze them.

Soon enough the creature woke up, clearly irritated by our attempts of escape.

"Leave her alone!" Natsu screamed.

The creature carried me out of the cave, me over his shoulder.

Natsu clung desperately to his leg fur.

"Come on kid, you have no chance! I'll let you live for now." The creature said in a deep grouchy voice.

It kicked Natsu back against the cave wall.

The cave cracked and crumbled.

Natsu collapsed on the ground, icy tears streaking his face.

"Don't worry! I'll be right behind you like I always have!" I screamed and continued punching and kicking.

*Present day*
"Is there a reason we are training here?" Natsu asked.

"So that anytime something from the past comes up that involves us, we're both ready and aren't going to collapse at any moment." I said.

He sat down on a snow bank and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"I'll set up the barrels." I said grabbing the ropes.

I set up all of the barrels straight across from eachother.

"You ready?" I asked.

"Yea." He replied.

Once he got up I started laughing.

"What?" He asked.

"You got snow on your butt!" I exclaimed and continued laughing.

He desperately tried to get it off leaving only a wet spot.

"It looks like you peed." I joked.

"Shut up." He grumbled, punching my shoulder.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Yea, why?" He asked.

I snapped my fingers and the barrels turned into the creature that took me years ago.

"I got special barrels from Mirajane, Cana too, they know what do with them." I said.

"Finally I don't have to feel guilty!" Natsu exclaimed.

"Remember their not real." I said.

"They feel real." He mumbled.

I shifted into my wolf, white as the snow.

"Where'd the girl go?" A barrel grumbled.

I hit Natsu's leg with my tail, telling him I was here.
