Chapter 28

I stood there alone except for the two behind me.

Natsu and Wendy.

"Why are you still here?" I asked, still looking at the dragon.

"We're dragon slayers, you aren't alone in this." Wendy said looking hopefully up at me.

I looked at her and crouched down.

"Yes, but this isn't like Earthland. You need to go, both of you." I said looking at them.

"We can't just leave you here alone!" Natsu exclaimed.

"And I can't let you die!" I yelled.

We were quiet for a few minutes.

"Sorry, I just, I can't explain, just go." I said.

"Fine, let me do a couple things first though." Wendy said.

She did two spells to make me stronger and faster.

I felt light and very powerful, well, more powerful.

"Thank you, now go." I said.

She ran off and started to tell everyone to back up a bit, sensing I was going to do something big.

I put a hand on Natsu's cheek and smiled at him.

"I'm going to sound a lot like Lucy here but, promise me you'll come back." He said, not taking no for an answer.

"I promise, this thing could never take me down but it'd definitely be a hard fight for you.

Your like a Happy in my eyes." I said.

"Then what's Happy?" He asked, looking back at the blue cat.

"He's just a winged cat, with a knife." I said.

We laughed a little before hugging.

He kissed my forehead saying. "I'm expecting you back." And ran off towards the others.

I laughed realizing how cheesy this was but who cared, I had a dragon to fight.

I faced it, walking forward.

Once I was real close it bent it's head down looking at me.

"That was a nice show, maybe instead of this you should be in theater." The dragon said.

I just gave it a cold stare, the edges of my mouth curling up into an evil, evil grin.

I raised my left hand above my head, the dragon's head jerking up with it.

I felt powerful, ways to torture this creature was flooding through my brain.

Evil seeping off me.

I brought my hand down, letting go of my hold.

It took in a large breath bringing out a large ball of poison.

I simply put up my left hand again and it flowed around me.

"I'm untouchable, you can't beat me." I said, my smile disappearing.

It raised a huge claw, and swiped it at me.

Jumping onto it and ran up.

I reached it's head in no time, diving off I spread my wings and went for the eyes.

First blow was the nose, second was the mouth as well as the third, fourth was the left eye, fifth was the right.

Every one landed and would be deadly if it wasn't for it's scales.
