"I order you to-"
"Stop it! I'm not a-"
"You obey me, -"
"Let me go! I'm not your-"
"Destroy them!"
"Yes, master."
"Stop! Fight it! Don't give in!"
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm such a monster!"
"Get over it, girl. You should have no emotions. You're not even human."
"I'll kill you! You forced me to-"
"They were never your-"
"LIAR!"

Kailee woke up, screaming hysterically. She was covered in sweat and shivering.
"I'll kill you! You will die! Die, you sick, twisted-" Kailee stopped immediately when she realized where she was.
Demon stood over her, worried and scared.
Steve, also known as Slide burst into her room. "Kailee! Are you okay? I heard screaming and another voice! Was someone in here?"
Who's Steve, you may ask? Why is his nickname Slide?
He's one of the foster kids that live with Kailee and he got his nickname trying to slide down the stair railings. He failed, epically.
At least that's what Kailee heard from the other kids.
Another voice? She must have used her demon voice. Crap, this was bad.
"I'm fine. Just a nightmare. I don't know about the other voice though. Maybe Demon was talking?" Kailee joked, trying to calm down.
Slide stared at her, blinking, before slowly smiling. "Demon can talk? And you didn't tell me? How rude!" Sarcasm was thick in his tone.
Kailee laughed and Slide went back to his room.
Kailee lied down, facing the ceiling. Demon curled up next to her.
Kailee couldn't close her eyes.

"Complex situations...Contemplating takes a while, it takes no pressure on the mind scape. Dreams are a part of life, so are nightmares. They mean much, but they also mean none. Take them cautiously, but don't. They haunt you without harm or trauma." Kailee mumbled to herself, in her own world.
Will walked past her and stopped, staring at her. Kailee's eyes were glazed over and she was dazed, staring into space. She didn't notice him.
"No need to worry. Myths are unreal and misleading. To care would be mindless and foolish, for which my intellect would not let me engage in such trivial thoughts." She continued.
"It is what, but a story. A lore created to scare the small mortals and, more likely, the small Devils and demons, such as myself." Her forehead was creased in concentration.
"We have no need, I have no need to brood over such doltish concerns and plagues. I find my path myself, alone, as thy had no need for help from the mortals. The demonic canine is my only companion. One to understand and heed me in my minor and vast expeditions and complications. To befriend me and aid me in my needs. He is thy who helps I, and cares for me in ways the mortals may never. I hope I do so return the favor."
"Imbecilic notions are in no manners prime, for this condition."
Will blinked as she muttered all of this, not loudly, but clearly enough for him to hear from a few feet away. He understood little of it, and was surprised she even knew those words.
