Brian stood watching Lillian run off and turned around, walking toward class. Of course, he didn’t care that he was late for class since he knew it’s just a part of his list of dos and don’ts.
Brian walked in his English class and noticed there was a substitute sitting at the teacher’s desk. His friends were sitting at the back table and talking about this week’s upcoming game. Brian sat there and texted on his phone, waiting for someone to annoy the sub.
“Hey Brian,” said Vanessa sitting on his desk while her friends, Brittney and Toni, stood and smiled at the boys.
“Hey Vanessa what’s up?” asked Brian, putting away his cell phone.
“I hear you’re having a big party soon. Can’t wait to go,” said Vanessa trying to flash flirting looks at me.
Brian disliked Vanessa because she always wanted to be like Kim and her friends. Kim annoys him when she tries hooking up with him out of nowhere. He was even more annoyed when Vanessa kept bothering him when he just wanted to be alone.
“Yeah… okay. See you there,” responded Brian, getting out his folder. The sub banged on the desk with a ruler and started yelling at everyone to sit down. Brian could tell the teacher hated kids and the sound of them. He was confused as to why he even bothers to teach in the first place.
Class was soon over and Brian went on his way to Pre-Calculus. The class he hated and wished he could just walk in class to get the homework and leave. Brian strode and sat in the back, putting his backpack on his desk and his hood over his head. Math always felt like it was three hours long and nothing was exciting or interesting about numbers and digits. He was good at it but disliked doing it.
Brian sat there doing his work until a paper flew over on his desk. He looked over and saw one of his friends, DJ, looking at him and giving a nod like it was time to shoot someone. Brian picked up the paper and read it.
Michelle wants it at the party with me...is that cool with you?
Brian looked up at him and grinned at him with a bad face. He shook his head and smiled a whatever. Brian loved how he had friends and had them to back him up on whatever it was. It sucked how he would have chicks all over him but they would look at other guys and start to show off their bodies, but Brian liked what he did. He would watch girls no matter what and would just act like it didn’t matter. The last girl he slept with was a girl from Paris and then with her sister. He used to be with Michelle but found out she only wanted to get pregnant and blackmail everyone. Brian was a player sometimes and would get straight an A in all his classes without even trying, but most times he would be quiet, not saying anything.
It was lunch time after about four hours. Brian was thankful that he was almost out of school and was free to go home for the weekend. He sat at the table with his friends and sipped on his soda. Leon, who was one of Brian’s other friends, sat down and started eating some chips.
“Dude that chick over there is fine. You know if she came to the party I would give it to her,” smiled Leon, giving a laugh.
“Man, she wouldn’t want to since your puppy too small,” laughed Matt.
“Whatever, man. I know how to give it to someone no matter what and it will be over the top,” said Leon, getting up and walking away.
Lillian sat at the back table in the cafeteria with her friends. She couldn’t wait to tell her friends the news about Brian asking her to his party. Carla came with her lunch sitting down at the table along with Vanessa.
