Lillian opened her eyes slowly and found she was in the nurse’s office lying on the bed.
“Honey you ok?” said the nurse rubbing her shoulder.
Lillian sat up and looked around.
“What Happened?”
“You passed out honey” said the nurse.
“How did I get here?” asked Lillian
“Brian brought you” said the nurse.
Brian walked in and gave a look for the nurse to leave the room closing the door.
“What happened? Why’d you pass out?” asked Brian
“I don’t know…I had a vision. My Aunt…something’s wrong” said Lillian.
“Look at me” said Brian.
Lillian looked at Brian in his dreamy gray eyes. He looked at Lillian deep in her eyes for 10 seconds studying her eyes to study her head.
Lillian’s eyes rolled back and she fell towards Brian feeling his arms catch her. Brian was able to read what Lillian was feeling and her thoughts from her vision. He looked back at her and felt bad about what she saw.
“Are you ok?” asked Brian with his hands in his pocket
“Yeah…I’m fine” said Lillian
“Lillian the reason you passed out was because the powers you have are sensitive. One of the abilities you have is your able to see visions. But when they are frightening visions they can cause you can go numb and unable to control yourself from passing out” explained Brian
“What powers?” asked Lillian confused “And why did you look at me like that about 10 minutes ago?”
“I have a power to tell what’s wrong with someone by telling the expression on their face and body, and read their mind” answered Brian
“Wow….ok then” said Lillian with a little nod.
“Your dad’s name is James right?” asked Brian
“Yeah why?” asked Lillian
“The story I told you about your family and the man who killed your birth mother is your dad and he’s a powerful ruler in Pakistan…he controls the vampires and the wolves and witches” said Brian trying to explain.
“Huh? There’s no way” said Lillian but the look of Brian’s face made her know he was serious.
“I’ll explain to you later on the drive home” said Brian

When school was out Lillian was at her locker putting her books away and getting her bag out of the locker. Lillian saw it was cloudy outside and knew it was going to rain again. She put on her sweater and closed her locker. Lillian walked outside and saw Brian talking to his friends. She decided to wait for him and talk to her friend Carla for a little while until it was time to leave. Brian came over to Lillian with his friend Matt.
“Alright I’ll see you at the party” said Carla and walked away hand in hand with Matt getting in his black Honda Civic R.
Lillian went with Brian to his car and got in.
