{ Loki }

The sound of more bombs wakes me, and my mind imedeatly goes to Layana. No matter how many times they've attacked since I sent her away, the sound of bombs still brings the memories back in a painful jolt.

She's safe though.

I quickly get up in an urgent matter, grabbing my scepter and running down the panick ridden halls.

When I get to the center of the chaos and damage, I find that our attackers have come down to fight this time. Frost giants.

Thor was right, it was them.

All I can think of right now is how amazing it would feel to stab one of them. To stab them in the back, ripping their flesh with the blade, their blood falling to the palace floor. To just laugh at their idiotic helplessness. To walk away smirking with my last words to that giant being, this is for Layana.

I can't though, it would break Layana's heart, but then again, She wouldn't have to know.

I look around, searching for a giant to take on, and once I see one, I tighten my grip on the scepter and run up to it.

I sink the blade into the rough flesh of his back then take it out, watching the blood pool on the gound. I stab him in the shoulders and the back, until he is begging for mercy.

"What do you want?" I spit out the words as if they are poisonous.

"War"

Then in the rush of the moment, adrenaline pumping through my veins, I stab him one last time and say, "then tell your people that they shall have war."

As he is stumbling away, leaving a trail of blood, I hear someone calling my name.

"Loki!"

I look back to see Odin marching up to me with a look of unspeakable anger on his wise face.

I instinctively take a step back, feeling the adrenaline slow down.

What have I done?

"Loki. You have just declared war on the Frost giants!" His majestic voices booms throughout the room, and every one stops to stare at me.

The frost giants have left, to no doubt prepare for war.

"Are you even aware of the gravity of what you have done?" He continues, "you have just put thousands of innocent lives in danger."

"I- I - I'm s-sorry." I manage to stutter, tears of guilt threatening to slide down my cheeks.

Suddenly two guards rab me by the arms and bring me to the palace prison. They
Put me in my old cell, and tell me to wait for Odin.

Great look at what I've done. I'm in a prison cell for declaring war on the frost giants. My daughter is who knows where in that bloody midguardian desert, and now I cant even ask Heimdal how she is doing.

Tears begin to slide down my face, at the thought that I've tried so long to avoid up until now. What if I never get to see her again?

The sound of Odin clearing his throat from behind me, jerks me back into reality.

I turn around to face him wiping my tears away.

"How long am I in here this time?" I ask plainly, trying not to show any signs of the fact that I've been crying.

"Well," odin clears his throat once more, "as I understand it, you only declared war on them from missing Layana, so you will be in here until she returns."

I smile slightly, from relief.

"Very well, thank you." I say.

"Someone shall arrive with food shortly" he says walking away.

Once he's gone, I lie down to sleep, even though the food will come soon. I'm not hungry right now and I can always eat it later.

I slowly drift off into another dreamless sleep.
