This chapter is going to be the same as last chapter, but from Mitch's pov.
Scott and I were sitting on the couch, just chilling and watching cartoons. I glanced up at him and he looked really in his head, he was looking at the tv but I could tell he wasn't paying attention. I focused my attention back towards the episode of Spongebob that was playing.
Scott broke his gaze when someone knocked on the door. He looked at me before getting up. I heard him exchange a few words with whoever was at the door before he shut it. Not too long after, I was being tackled by a laughing Kirstie. She got off of me and sat up beside me on the couch. We were talking about Olaf, her dog, when I noticed Scott was leaning against the wall, watching me and Kirstie on the couch. He was focused on me and it was kinda freaking me out, he seemed out of it today. "Babe?" I said to him, interrupting what Kirstie was saying to me.
He hummed and raised his eyebrows to say 'what.'
"You alright?" I asked him.
"Yeah, just-" he started saying before I interrupted him.
"Admiring the view?" I asked, mocking what he said to me a while ago. He rolled his eyes and I giggled at him and at my joke. He walked over to us and sat down beside me, so I was in the middle of my two best friends.
"Don't mock me kid." I hated when he called me 'kid' it's like I'm a baby even though there's only a year age difference.
"Wanna fight?" I said jokingly.
"I'd love to."
Oh no. Ugh. I hate when he does this too! He grabbed me and pulled me close to him and started tickling my sides, where I was most ticklish. I couldn't help but laugh like a crazy person.
"Scott!" I cried out, "Stop!" I managed to get out a couple words in between laughs. He clearly didn't plan on stopping so I yelled at Kirstie to help. I looked up to her when she wasn't helping me and saw her taking a video of us and laughing. I continued to try and push Scott's hands off of my and wiggle out but I was unsuccessful, obviously. When he stopped after what felt like 10 million hours, I ripped his hands off me and jumped up from my spot on the couch. I moved so I was behind Kirstie and she was my shield. "You're so mean!" I yelled at Scott who was still laughing at me.
We sat and watched cartoons for a while but Scott had to leave, he's going to hang out with Alex.
Scott said bye and he left the apartment, leaving me with Kirstie. We just watched Spongebob for a while until she got bored of it and turned it off. I don't understand how one gets bored of Spongebob but whatever. "Wanna have a dance party?" She asked me.
"Sure, I can invi-"
"Laaaaaaaame" she cut me off.
"What?" I asked her, confused.
"People are lame. Let's just have a dance party with the two of us."
"You're right, that sounds like fun."
I went to my turntables and started playing music as loud as it could go. I walked back out to Kirstie who was jumping around and flailing her arms like a maniac. I laughed before taking out my phone to Snapchat her. I took the video and captioned it 'this is why we don't dance on stage.' I slid my phone back into my pocket and joined her. We love dancing for some reason, even though neither of us are very good at it. It's good for relieving stress and passing time. Before I knew it, it was 4:30 when we decided to take a break. We left the music playing but sat down on the couch and went on our phones.
About half an hour passed before Kirstie talked again, "Mitch, you should get dressed."
"What?"
