Mitch's pov
I woke up to the sound of groaning that sounded like it was coming from a big group of zombies, but I knew it was just all my friends waking up and realizing the hangovers they had gotten from last night. I rolled onto my back and realized I was on my bed, cuddled up to Scott and Kirstie. I remember falling asleep on the couch but I guess Scott must've carried me in here. I was in the middle of the two. I poked Scott lightly in the ribs and he stirred, I kept poking him until he finally opened his eyes and groaned when the bright light from the open window hit his eyes. He closed them again and pulled the covers over his head. I slipped under with him and kissed him lightly on the cheek. "Hey." I said to him quietly, so I wouldn't wake Kirstie."Hey." He said back and smiled, placing a kiss on my lips. We lifted the covers off of us so we were out in the open. I wrapped my arms around his waist and he wrapped his long arm around my shoulders. "Did you sleep well?" He asked me.
"Yeah, but I'm pretty sure I fell asleep on the couch last night." I replied.
Kirstie shifted behind me but I ignored it.
Scott started talking again, "You did. But your amazing boyfriend carried you bridal style to your room."
I giggled at the comment but heard someone gasp and squeal. Oh shit. Kirstie was in here. She didn't just shift, she was awake and listening to us. "I knew it!" She said loudly.
"Be quiet Kirst!" I warned her. "Nobody else knows so keep it to yourself, alright."
She nodded towards us. Kirstie hadn't stopped smiling at the sight of Scott and I cuddling together. "How long has this been going on?" She asked still a bit giggly.
"Well. It's depends." Scott said to her.
"What?"
"Technically for quite some time now but officially, not long, just a few days."
"Wow, I would've thought longer."
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked Kirst.
"C'mon guys, really? I caught you two gawking at each other all the time, practically drooling, it was super cute and also pretty funny."
Scott and I both rolled our eyes at her. I couldn't help but think about that comment. First of all, did anyone else notice, I sure as hell hope not. And second, he stared at me? I mean obviously I stared at him all the time, look at him, he's gorgeous. I watched him as he argued with Kirstie about something, he was cute when he was mad. The sunlight hit his face in the right way, his bright blue eyes shone and his jawline was looking flawless as always. I was snapped out of my trance by Kirstie laughing again. "What?" I asked her.
"That's exactly the way you stared at him before, it's funny."
My cheeks went red and I was about to defend myself but I was cut off by Tyler opening the bedroom door. The three of us looked over to him, he looked like a mess, his blonde hair was all over the place, his glasses were crooked, he slouched. "Painkillers?" He asked and Scott nodded and stood up to grab the bottle from the medicine cabinet.
Kirstie and I talked while Scott was gone. "So Scott stared at me too?"
"You're so blind Mitch."
"That obvious hey?"
"Yeah, that obvious. He was staring at you all the time, it was adorable. I really thought you would have caught him. That's why I had my suspicions about you two."
"Did anyone else notice?"
"Esther did. But the two boys never did. They were always too busy to pay attention to anything."
I nodded in response before getting up to join everyone else in the living room for some morning cartoons. I smiled thinking about Scott examining my every feature just as I did to him, the thought never left my mind.
