Mitch's pov

Ugh. Why. Why. Why. He needs to stop coming back. He said one week. I thought that meant one week then he would be back, and by then I would be moved out of there and in with Scott.

"Look Mitch, you can go wait in the car while I figure out what's happening, if you'd like." He's so sweet, but I'm not letting him go alone, I'm coming.

"Thanks baby, but I wanna know what's going on." I also kinda wanted to take what might be my last chance to scream at Travis, but I won't tell Scott that.

He smiled at me. "Are you sure?"

"100%"

"Alright. Here we go."

He took my hand in his and we walked back towards the apartment. Scott looked at me one more time, looking for confirmation, so I nodded my head. He pushed open the door and the moving guys were standing in the middle of the room, like Scott said they were. Scott spoke up, "Where's Travis?" He asked the guys standing there.

"Who?" Ugh. You have to be kidding me. What do they mean who?

"The one who hired you..."

"Oh. He's in there." They pointed towards the bedroom. We walked towards the room and peeked in. There was a shorter guy in there, he was still taller than me, obviously. He had dark hair, like mine but he styled it different. We stared at his back while he stood there, unaware of our presence. Scott cleared his throat and the guy turned around. Woah. He was hot. Like reaaaaally hot. He stared at us.

"Can I help you guys?" He asked us.

"Who are you?" Scott asked.

"My name is Bryce. And who are you two?"

"My friend here, Mitch lives in this apartment. And I'm his friend, Scott. Why are you here?"

"Oh. I didn't know you were- um uhh."

"Spit it out." That was the first thing I had said since we stepped into the apartment.

"I didn't know you were coming." Why does it matter. It's my apartment anyways. "Well um I should tell you that I'm kind of Travis' boyfriend..." His voice faded towards the end of the sentence. I can't believe Travis. It's been less than two weeks and he's already got a new boyfriend. This Bryce guy won't last long. "I'm moving in here." What? Did he just say he's moving in?! I haven't even moved out yet!

I tugged on the bottom of Scott's shirt and he looked down at me, with a concerned look on his face. I tilted my head towards the door, indicating I wanted to leave. He nodded and said one last thing to Travis' new friend before we left. "We'll be back later." With that, Scott grabbed my hand again and lead me out of the room, then out of the apartment. We didn't say anything until we got into the car. "You alright Mitchie?" I was still in shock about the whole thing. A second passed and he spoked up again,"Mitchie?" I guess I still hadn't answered him since he had to say my name again.

"What? Yeah. I'm fine." I lied, not just to Scott, but to myself as well. I wanted so bad to think I was okay but I was the opposite.

"No you're not babe. We are going back to our place now, we can talk then. Okay?"

"Yeah." I wasn't really listening to what he said. He started driving and we sat the entire drive in silence, not even the sound of music in the background. Just silence.
