Cas' Point of View
*3 Weeks Later*"So, cross that off your list." Dean stated, shutting the last Harry Potter book, Castiel looked at him blankly.
"It can't be over." Cas mumbled, frowning, "It can't just be over."
"Are you going through one of your 'book hangovers'?"
Castiel pouted, "You do know me well, don't you?"
"Well, I've been coming over for more than a month. I know a lot about you."
"Is that so?" Cas drawled out, an impish grin over his pale face, "What's my favorite color?"
"That's such an elementary school question."
"You don't know it."
"I do know it, it's green. But it's a different shade of green." Dean paused, looking off into the distance, "it's almost like a forest type of green."
Cas flushed red, the shade Dean was describing was his favorite color. And the thing that made him blush even harder was the fact that Dean's eyes matched the exact description.
"You're right," Cas responded, hoping that Dean doesn't turn to see his flushed face, "what's my most embarrassing moment?"
"That one is hard, my everything," Dean stated firmly, eyeing him, "you're one of the most awkward people I've ever met so-"
"Excuse me,"Cas joked, punching him weakly on the arm, "I am not awkward."
"I took you outside yesterday and an elderly woman asked if you thought the day was beautiful and all you did was stutter."
"The old lady was freaky!"
"What do you mean?"
"Did you see her eyes?"
"Really Cas?"
"What?"
Dean raised an eyebrow, before exclaiming, "She was blind!"
Castiel blinked, realizing that the poor woman was blind.
Dean cackled, shaking his head. The way Dean laughed threw Cas in a fit, giggling like a teenage boy, despite the ache in his gut every time he showed any emotion, as if his body rejected good feelings.
They laughed and laughed, until their stomachs hurt and their faces hurt from smiling so wide. There was honestly no reason why they were laughing this hard, but maybe it was the comfort between them, the sound of Dean's wildly contagious laugh, or the pure truth that Cas missed the complete truth of an old lady who was blind.
Cas wiped a tear from the corner of his eye, his laugh dying down, smile still plastered wide over his face. Dean stated at him, eyes trailing Cas' face in such a peculiar way. Dean Winchester looked at him like Cas was the only human being in the world with him.
