Dean's Point of View
Dean wasn't sure what he was doing, confessing his love for Lisa. Especially at probably the worst moment and place, for he was actually saying he was in love with Lisa, in a hospital, in front of his sick friend.
It didn't feel so right either, as he planted his lips over hers, it didn't feel how it used to.
He just wanted to have a lover, since, he was crazy with lust, but, the kiss with Lisa didn't feel how it used to.
He pulled away when he suddenly thought of something more important.
Cas.
Dean imagined that he was just sitting there, watching Dean and Lisa kiss, and the thought of Cas watching them made him uncomfortable.
Dean pulled away, glancing at the boy, but, instead of seeing bright, blue eyes on his, they were closed, like he passed out.
"Cas!" Dean shouted in shock, pulling away from Lisa; racing to Cas' side, placing his hands on either side of his face, listening to the two racing hearts fill in the silence, the heart monitor and his own heart, both pounding against their chest. He turned to look at Lisa, who was left jaw dropped, a slim hand over her small mouth.
"Get help!" Dean yelled, as Lisa nodded quickly, running out the room. "Cas!"
Castiel looked dead.
His eyes fallen shut, skin pale, lips white, he looked like he had been dead for days.
Dean was panicking, his worry overwhelming him as his thoughts began to wonder what if Cas was dead.
Of course, his heart was pounding against his chest. That meant he wasn't dead, but Dean felt like he was, the way he looked.
"Help!" Dean screamed, letting his throat run rough.
Cas abruptly awoke, eyes wide and alert, as they stared at each other, Dean's breath caught up in his throat.
"Dean?" Castiel said, "What happened?"
Dean swallowed hard, feeling the sweat stop running in the nape of his neck, he noticed that he was caressing Cas, hands on either side of his white face; however, Dean didn't care, nor did he mind, since his best friend was dying seconds ago.
"You passed out man, and um-you didn't wake up." Dean said, looking into his big, blue eyes, and for some reason, he couldn't go on, as Dean's eyes trailed down to Cas' lips, slowly flushing back to its color, "And...um-"
Dean looked back up to his eyes, watching Cas' eyes scan his lips, the lust pulsing in his eyes.
Dean wasn't sure why he did it.
He leaned in close, until they were both sharing the same air to breathe in; Cas didn't flinch, instead Dean felt him relax underneath his sweaty fingertips.
Dean closed the gap, feeling Cas' lips move.
Dean felt that difference.
The one he used to feel with Lisa.
Except, this one was stronger, more powerful.
His heart was racing against his chest, thumping hard against his ribs, sweat had reappeared on the nape of his neck, and when Cas' hands tangled up in the set of his hair, he lost it completely, as he pressed his urgent tongue against Cas' lips, but Cas pulled away, breaking their kiss.
