AYONO'S POV
Kazuma finally left after talking to my dad. My cousin has always been a main priority and always comes before anything. I kinda get along with her but not really she's quiet and beautiful and looking at her just makes me mad cause she has always been better than me at everything and now she is going to go to my school. It's bad enough Kazuma is coming to my school and now people think we're dating like ew that's gross. I mean I have a crush on him but no one needs to know. I mean as soon as my cousin sees me with Kazuma she'll know I like him. Ugh I don't like her and I must keep Kazuma away from her.

KAZUMA'S POV

I arrived at Ayono's house early in the morning to wait for this fucking girl. Ayono's dad came in the room to talk.

"Can I at least have some details" I demanded as soon as he walked in the room.

"Well where should I start?" He said while rubbing his beard.

"How about a name at least"

"Well her name is Mercy"

"Wow that's a pretty name"

"Yes it is and so is she well I should be going to my room this is still early for me ya know" He said smiling and he turned around and walked out the door to his room. I sat there thinking about this girl. Why am I thinking about her so much and I haven't even seen her yet. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard foot steps. I looked where they were coming from and saw a door start to open. Then the whole world went in slow motion. I saw the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She had long black hair pulled into a ponytail with her bangs over one of her eyes. She had stunning bright purple eyes that were sparkling (She has no relation to himeragi on hyoka I made her up). She had a perfect shape and had her green school uniform on. I realized I was staring at her because she had her head tilted to the side looking at me confused.

"Uh....oh you must be...." I started but she interupted me.

"Mercy VanShweetz" She said quickly. "And you are?"

"Oh I'm Kazuma Yagami very nice to meet you"

"Yes"

"22Well we should be going"

"Where?"

"To the school"

"Oh do we need to wait for Ayono?"

"No its just me and you"

"Oh so your my protector?"

"Just think of me as your friend who you can count on if something goes wrong"

"So you will be with me?"

"Yes" I said and blushed by now we were almost there. We arrived and when we opened the doors everybody stopped and stared at us. I took her to my locker that isnt actually mine I was just using it when I was pretending to go here to protect Ayono but now with Mercy there could actually be a threat now I see that. I was standing behind Mercy while she got her stuff. Then someone grabbed the back of my shirt spun me around and slammed my back into the locker besides Mercy. It was Ayono her arm was across my neck and her other hand was on the other side of my head.

"Why are you still here and even with my cousin THATS UNFORGIVABLE!!!" She yelled and put her hand up to hit me when someone grabbed her wrist. She turned around and her face softened a little then went toughened again and she stomped off.

"Jeez" I said while exhaling.

"Are you ok?" She asked kind of concerned bit her face was still emotionless. I still love her voice its so tiny and soft and cute just like her.

"Yeah I'm fine" I said and gave her a smile. We got to her class. This is gonna be kinda rough because Mercy and Ayono have all the same classes.

~Time Skip~

Mercy has just been doing whatever and Ayono has been competing with her all day. Now me and Mercy were walking to Ayono's house. We got to Ayono's and stopped on her door step. I turned to her. She had her head down and her arms crossed.

"Are you ok?" I asked her and put my hand on her shoulder. She immediately looked up startled. She was biting her lip and a tear shed down her cheek.

"I...I'm fine" She said her voice was shaking.

"Here I'd you need anything call" I said and handed her a piece of paper.

"Thank you" she said and smiled.

"So why are you crying"

"I...I don't know" She quickly turned and went inside after saying goodbye she shut the door. Gosh that girl.
