KAZUMA'S POV

I woke up in my living room on the couch. I looked around the house but Mercy wasn't here.

"Did she even come home last night?" I asked myself. Did I do something? I thought. Just then the door burst open revealing a tired looking Mercy. She noticed me looking at her and moved a stray hair out of her face.

"Oh your awake" She said tucking it behind her ear.

"Um yeah did you sleep? I asked with a concerned look.

"No" She said smiling. Behind her was a big black case that she was struggling to carry.

"Need some help?" I asked.

"No I got it" She said. I ran to her and caught the case right before she dropped it.

"Thank you but I can handle it now" She said trying to take it but I lifted it out of her reach.

"I don't think so I'll do it where are you going to put it" She gestured to the kitchen.

"You can set it on the table then"  I did as she said and set it on the table. She opened it and I saw a ton of kitchen supplies.

"So can you explain what your doing now?" I asked confused.

"I was up all night studying human behavior, interactions, history, things like that" She explained. "So will you do something for me?" She added.

"Um sure what is it?" I asked unsure.

"Will you help me learn the cooking skill?"

"Well I guess I could I have nothing better to do" I shrugged.

"Really!?!?" She said excitedly. She ran up and hugged me.

"Of course" I said hugging back.

(Time skip)

"Nope burned again" I said.

"I'm never going to learn how to cook" She said. I went over to her and put my arm around her.

"It's ok you'll get it" I said with a reassuring smile. "Let's just start off making cookies" I suggested.

"Ok!!!" She said with a cheeky smile. I got out the ingredients.

"Ok so put the cookie mix in the bag then add the flour and the eggs And milk ok?" I instructed.

"Yes" She did like I said and then stirred it.

MERCY'S POV

"And then just put it in the oven" Kazuma said.

"Mmhmm" Then we heard the door.

"I'll get it" He said and went to the door.

"Now let's make these better" I said to myself. I added chocolate chips, sugar, and more good things. I stirred it up really good then put them on the sheet and in the oven. I'll under bake them so their chewy and not hard. Then Kazuma came back in with Ayono.

AYONO'S POV

I went in the kitchen with Kazuma and saw Mercy in a cute apron covered in flour.

"Your a mess sit there" Kazuma said pointing to a stool. Mercy sat where Kazuma told her and Kazuma went to the sink. He wet a cloth and walked over to Mercy. He put one hand on her neck and the other wiped off her face and neck. While that happened they smiled at each other. Then Kazuma went and washed the flour out of the cloth and put it away.

"So when did you to start dating?" I asked uninterested. Kazuma turned around shocked.

"Were not" Kazuma said and looked down disappointedly.

"Of course not" I said sarcastically. Then a smell wafted through the air.

"Oooooooooooo my cookies!!!" Mercy said excitedly and ran for the oven.

"Hey!!!" Kazuma yelled stopping her in her tracks. She looked at Kazuma confused. "Turn the oven off first and don't get burned" He rolled his eye.

"Oh right" She said tapping her chin thoughtfully. Kazuma sighed and got up from where he was sitting. He turned the oven off and handed Mercy an oven mitt. He sat back down at the table and Mercy got the cookies out.

"Wow those look good I'm impressed" I said staring in awe at the cookies. She took one off the tray and put it on a plate. She carried it to Kazuma and placed it in front of him. She picked up the cookie and put it in front of his face. There faces were really close together.

"Taste!!!" Mercy said. Kazuma hesitantly took a bite.

"Wow that's actually good" He said astonished.

"Really!!!!" Mercy set the cookie down and hugged Kazuma and he wrapped his arms around her. I took a cookie and I was surprised to find that it was amazing.

"Good job Mercy" I said and walked towards the door. I walked out and before shutting the door I heard them talking.

"Does this mean I can cook now!!!!" Mercy said.

"No you still need more practice" Kazuma relied.

"Awww man guess I better keep trying then" I shut the door and smiled to myself.
