The Wedding

MERCY'S POV
It's been two weeks since Celeste died. Today me and Jake are getting married. I layed there next to him and watched him sleep. His nose twitched in a cute way and he opened his eyes. The beautiful bright red was overwhelming. I stared into them and admired them.

"Good morning princess" He said with a small smile.

"Good morning" I said and put my hand on his bare chest. I snuggled up into him and took a deep breath. His scent was intoxicating. I pulled him in and kissed him. He put his arm over me.

"I love you" He said.

"I love you too" I said back.

"I need to go" He said and sat up.

"Awww" I did the pouty face.

"Well if we're gonna get married" He said trying to point out the obvious.

"Yeah yeah" I said and kissed him. I grabbed my phone started to text my best friend. Jake walked to the door when I heard a knock. I ran to the door. They were looking at each other. Jake had a questionable look on his face and she had her I'm judging you harshly face on.

"Hey" She said when she saw me. " Aren't you going to introduce me" She said tapping her foot. I rolled my eyes.

"Rayne this is Jake. Jake this is Rayne" I introduced them.

"I for one-" She started.

"Shhh now don't judge each other too harshly now" I said cutting her off. She grunted and crossed here arms.

"Well hello Rayne" Jake said.

"Hi" Rayne said irritated. I chuckled.

"Come on Rayne" I said.

"Ok" She said and gave me a cheeky smile. Jake left. We went and sat on my bed.

"So what's up?" She asked.

"Well I'm getting married today and I want you to help. I also want you to hold the ring." I said.

"Who are you getting married to?"

"Jake the guy you just met" Her eyes went wide.

"Oh gosh sorry. I thought he was just a one night stand or something"

"Did you not go to the engagement dinner?" I asked.

"Huh no I wasn't notified"

"Ok will you?"

"Of course your me best friend. Lets get started" She said and we started curling my long black hair. She pulled it up into this bun thing. I pit on a white corset then we put my dress on. It was a fitted white one (compliments of my mother). It has a sweetheart neckline and it was fitted around the waist. It flowed from the waist down. I wore silver diamond Incrested heels and a diamond necklace to match. We painted my nails with clear nail polish and added the white tips. We put light makeup on and a cherry red lipstick. She looked me over and nodded with a smile.

"Perfect" She said and looked at her watch.

"We have and hour" She said. She put on a dark purple dress and heels that matched mine but they were black. The dress was a short and strapless. It was fitted like mine and flowing at the bottom. We straightened her hair and put a diamond clip in it. We gave her light makeup and black nails. She picked up her watch and her eyes widened.

"Five minutes" She said. We grabbed the bouquet of roses and started to walk downstairs. She went in front of me keeping watch.

"You wait here for your dad and I'll go talk to Jake to apologize. I will come tell you guys when it's time" She said and went inside. We waited and finally she came back.

JAKE'S POV
Rayne walked in the room and I watched her come up the isle towards me.

"Is she ready?".I asked impatiently. She nodded.

"I wanted to apologize" She said looking down at the ground. I chuckled and put my hand on her shoulder.

"It's ok you look nice by the way" I said with a genuine smile. She blushed.

"Thanks" She said. "Where are the rings?" She asked. I handed them to her.

"Ok her mom is here it's time to get married" She said smiling and nudging me in the arm. She ran down the isle and greeted Mercy's mom.

MERCY'S POV
My mom just arrived and I gave her a hug. My dad stood next to me.

"Good luck. You look gorgeous" Mom said and went in. Rayne went over to us.

"We're ready" She said. I looked at my dad and he smiled. Like anyone could tell because he's literally all bones.

"You look amazing" He whispered. I smiled and hooked my arm with his. The doors opened.

JAKE'S POV
The doors opened and I saw Mercy. There were no words to describe how I felt at that moment or how amazing she looked. All I can say is it took my breath away and suddenly I got extremely nervous. She walked up the isle with her father and and stood in front of me. The man started talking.

"Are there any objections?" He asked everyone. Kazuma ran in.

"I object" He yelled repeatedly and ran in front of the man's face.

"You know only I and Cupid can see you" I said to him in my head. I looked at Cupid. She was glaring at me and I sighed.

"Let us continue" The man said and started to read out of his little book.

"Please exchange vows" He stood back a step giving us a place to share our feelings. We exchanged vows as he told (I would write it but that would take too long and I'm lazy lol) us.

"Will you Jake marry Princess Mercy VanShweetz?" He asked.

"I do" I said and smiled.
