KAZUMA'S POV

I looked at Mercy she had full horror in her eyes. I looked in the direction of her gaze and ended u looking at a shadow in the doorway. I pulled her into a tight embrace and looked at her, her eyes were turning black from fear.

"Ja... Jak..." She stuttered. This is the most scared I have ever seen her. The shadow started moving closer. it stopped in front her and every step he took made it easier to see him and his features. He reached his hand out to touch her. She was shaking.

"don't touch her" I yelled. he didn't even budge and he his hand kept getting closer.

"I said don't touch her" I yelled again. I was about to hit him but a shooting pain radiated throughout my body and I exploded in pain.

"stop you hurting him" I heard Mercy yell.

"why don't you help him Mercy" He said nearing his face to hers. I clenched my fists.

"I don't use my power around him" she murmured.

"why not you wanna look more normal. he hasn't told you everything you know that" he said. "yet you trust him. she nodded. "what happened to you Mercy" He said. he lifted her face up with his finger to reveal she was crying. "so are you going to help him because you know you'll never be normal." she stopped crying and her eyes glowed red. She turned to me and looked at me and I wasn't in pain anymore. she turned back to the guy. there was no emotion on her face. We reappeared in the middle of a field. this time we all had clothes on and the guy had back up. I just remembered what cupid said about this Jake guy. She was right. He was a tall attractive guy with black hair and red eyes.

"so you've decided to fight I see even when your weak that's my girl" He said with a smirk. They charged towards each other. I guess that Jake guy only has the back ups there as an audience. They simultaneously pulled out swords. Hers lit on fire in a blue flame. They're blades clashed and flames went everywhere. he lit his on fire in a red flame.

"your weak so why do you use all your energy to fight me?" He asked.

"guess you don't know me as well as you think" She said. Satan appeared next to me which startled me.

"do you know what's happening?" He asked clearly picking up on my confusion.

"no do they know each other?" I asked now's the time to get more answers.

"yes they have known each other for a while. Jake has always been intrigued with her and she has always hated him. Now you change things and Jake is very jealous because he wants to be in your position. That's not going to happen because he's not supposed to be with her. She's meant for you so he wants to kill you. Mercy isn't going to let that happen and so were here now." He said. I paused to process this new information. Just then a fire ball came hurling at me. Mercy didn't have time to react and blocked it with my wind. Everyone stopped and stared. Mercy was in shock and was staring at me. I didn't know what to do but before I could say anything Jake came up behind her and grabbed her waist and pulled her into a kiss. He pulled her in tighter and closer. I cut his face with a slice of wind. Some of the blood got on Mercy's face and the blood drained from her face and she stared at me. We both reappeared in my living room. Mercy was still staring at me with utter shock. I stepped closer to her and she passed out.
