The Silent Treatment

MERCY'S POV

I've been in my room for 2 weeks now and I'm getting tired of this. I don't want to be alone I just want Kazuma. I want Kazuma to be here right now. I want him to just be here right now. but I need someone to help me. I don't want Ayono to help me but i've got an idea. I don't want to see Kazuma, I don't think I'm ready to see him yet. I'm still thinking and it breaks my heart to say this but I think I might be reconsidering my whole relationship with Kazuma. I want to stay with him but what's best for me and what's best for him. I'm thinking about leaving or staying away from him. I walked towards the door to my room. I unlocked the door and cracked it open taking a peak out the door. I didn't see him so I started to walk towards the window. I was half way across the room when I felt hands on my waist. they pulled me backwards towards the living room. then I was pulled down I tried to get up quickly but he put his arms around me locking me into place. I struggled to get free.

"Let go of me Kazuma" I yelled trying to break free from his grip.

"no I want to talk to you" He said trying to stay calm.

"no I have to go somewhere important"

"where"

"nowhere"

"I'm coming then"

"no just let me go"

"I'll let you go if I can come"

"fine just let go" he let me go and followed me. we arrived at the train station at sunset.

"um what are we doing at the train station?" Kazuma asked obviously. I didn't answer and instead rolled my eyes. He grabbed my arms and turned me around to face him.

"where you going to leave me" He yelled with a serious look on his face. I struggled but I finally got loose from his grip.

"no Kazuma should I?" I yelled. He stayed silent but murmured something under his breath. We waited for a couple hours and then there was a faint light in the sky.

"what are we here for Mercy. there are no more trains" He said more like whispered.

"there's one more" I said still staring at the sky like I have been for 3 hours. I'm surprised he stayed with me and just sat there for hours instead of leaving.

"no there-" He was cut off by some rumbling and then the light shot down and shined on the train station. There was a white train floating down in the light.

"there it is" I said and started walking towards the train that had white clouds of smoke underneath it. I turned around and saw that Kazuma hadn't budged.

"are you coming or not?" I asked. he redirected his attention to me and nodded. "well we have to hurry"

"why?" He asked.

"ugh do you have to ask so many questions." I said a little to irritated. He looked at me with a shocked hurt face and looked out the window.

Time Skip

We arrived to Cupid's kingdom. An beautiful angel came to escort us. He had golden hair and sparkling bright blue eyes. He walked up to me and kneeled down on one knee. He took my hand and kissed it gently and I chuckled.

"I'm happy to be at your service" He said while getting up. I nodded in approval.

"Follow me I'll take you to your mother"

"ok" I said. We followed him until he stopped at a pair big of golden doors.

"here's where I stop" he said and opened the door for me. Me and Kazuma walked in and we stopped at another pair of doors and I turned around.

"you have to wait here" I said to Kazuma who at this point was so depressed I thought he might cry. He may actually truly love me. I walked inside and closed the door. I walked up to me mother sitting in a white chair.

"what's wrong dear?" She asks getting up and running over to me. That's when I finally let go of all the tears i've been bottling up and I cried. I sobbed for a while. She sat me down and sat in front of me.

"what happened" She asked calmly. I explained everything. She smiled but I'm still frowning.

"well do you love Kazuma?" She said.

"I don't know" I said and burring my head in hands.

"well would you do anything for him?" She asked.

"yes" I said without hesitating.

"It sounds to me like you love him and if you didn't you wouldn't make such a big deal out of this" I stayed silent. "tell him and tell him why your mad" She continued and stood up walking over to me. I got up and she hugged me. She opened the door for me.

"but does he love me?" I whispered not wanting him to hear me.

"I guess you'll have to see for yourself" she said.

"where is he?" I asked.

"he went your old room" She said and hugged me before shutting the door. I walked to my room and opened the door. I saw him on my bed sleeping with his back facing me. I carefully layed next to him with his face just inches in front of me. I saw tears down his cheeks. He cried his self to sleep? I could feel his breath on my face as he calmly breathed in and out. I blushed. He started to lightly moved and I teleported us into his bed. His opened slightly and he let out a deep minty breath and I blushed harder. He opened his eyes and made me blush harder. I didn't think I could blush anymore.

"why are you blushing?" he whispered obviously not understanding what's going on yet. After I didn't say anything his eyes went wide. "where you watching me sleep?" he asked surprised. I didn't say anything I just got up and left the room. I cant be around him not yet. He grabbed my arm, spun me around, and pulled me into him. my hands were on his chest. I looked up at him. he had a confused expression on his face. He started to back up dragging me with him until he finally sat down pulling me on top of him.

"Kaz-" I started but he cut me off.

"what did I do?" He asked. I opened my mouth to speak but he cut me off once again.

"I tried so hard not to screw up with you. I tried to gain your trust and not do anything to hurt you" He said with pain in his voice.

"you know everything about me but you haven't told me the truth" I said. He was silent. I looked away.

"do you really love me?" I whispered. I saw out of the corner of my eye his head snap to look in my direction. He took my face in his hands and forced me to look at him. He looked into my eyes with deep concern.

"of course I do" he yelled like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"how can you be so sure?" I asked my voice doubt.

"i've never been so sure about everything in my life" He said. "do you love me?" He asked. A tear rolled down my cheek.

KAZUMA'S POV

I looked deeply in her eyes. Then she nodded and chuckled lightly. I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to me and kissed her. She put her hands behind my head deepening the kiss.

"if you two would stop making out we could get down to business" I heard a voice in the doorway.
