Chapter 17

Riley's P.O.V.

I was packing my stuff and getting ready to move it into Harry's house.

I finally packed all my stuff and put it in Harry's car. I used my crutches to go down the driveway and climb into the car.

"Are you ready to graduate tomorrow?" He asked.

"Yeah!"

"You have a doctors appointment at 3."

"Why?"

"Because I scheduled it. It's a surprise so don't ask why." We pulled up to the doctors and sat in the waiting room.

"Riley Bard?" The doctor called. Harry and I got up and went into the room.

"Well the reason you are here is because we are putting a cast on your foot that you can walk in."

"Really?!"

"Yeah" so he took the cast I have now off and put a walking one on. I can walk during graduation!! i was thinking excitedly.

"can we leave now?" i asked hopefully.

"yes you may" the doctor said while giving me a small smile. it felt so weird to be able to walk in the cast. i was so used to uses crutches all the time but now i get to walk in it.

next day....

i woke up the next morning and smiled to myself because we were graduating today! i looked next to me and saw Harry peacefully sleeping. i nudged him but his eyes still stayed closed. so i stood up on the bed and jumped on him. he shot up from the bed throwing me off the bed in the process.

"ow" i said giggling.

"im so sorry. i didnt see you there." he said trying not to laugh.

"its okay" i said standing up."we need to get ready because we have to be at the school earkier so we can practice. is your mom and dad coming?"

"yeah and my sister. is your mom coming?" he asked. i felt my eyes well up in tears. "im so sorry i completely forgot." he said sadly.

"no its okay" i said while getting up and going to my closet. i picked out the white strapless lacey dress with my white flip flops. but of course i only need one because of my cast.

i went downstairs to see harry staring at his phone smiling.

"whatcha smiling at?"

"oh nothing. ready to go?" he asked.

"ready as ill ever be" i said walking out the door.
