Chapter 24

Riley's P.O.V.

I quickly ran out out of the dance studio. I stopped running. I felt a hand grip my wrist. I turned around to see harry standing there.
"What?" I asked harshly.
"Please just let me explain."
"There's nothing to explain Harry! You went out and found another girl like 3 days after we broke up! I fell head over heals for you and you let me fall, you weren't there to catch me." I said.
"Did what you said was true? That you had a boyfriend who abused you?" He asked me.
"Yes it's true. Every night he would hit me. At school you bullied me and he would push me in the bathroom and hit me. Then I went home and got abused by my dad. Sometimes my ex would come over and they would beat me together. When I lost my mom and you were bullying me I just broke. And my only release was to cut and to starve myself. It's not like my dad cared he was out drinking all the time. I've tried to commit suicide 4 times. You and my dad made me feel like I didn't deserve to live. So I tried to commit suicide. I was with my ex until he tried to rape me. That's when I was done. I've been abused most of my life. I used to try to stop it but at this point I just stop trying because its not worth it anymore." By the time I said all of that I was crying hysterically. We were now sitting on a bench in a park. "And I can't believe I just told you my life story."
"Wow I'm so sorry! I had no idea that, that was happening to you."
"You don't know anything about me." I said.
"I guess I really dont. I don't know why I even asked you to be my girlfriend." He said. It really hurt to hear him say that. My eyes started to fill with tears. He must have realized what he said. "I'm sorry I didn't-" he was going to say something but I cut him off.
"You know what forget it. Have fun with your new girlfriend." I said with a tear falling down my face. I turned around and started walking away. Now I realize why everybody hates me. Harry just said that he didn't know why he asked me out. I'm getting so much hate on twitter. I was walking home and it started raining.

When I walked in the door I was sopping wet. Sam was snuggled in a ball on the couch watching tv. I went behind her and gave her a hug from behind.
"Holy shit!" She yelled. I started cracking up! "OMG! I hate you!!" She said while laughing. I went and sat down on the couch next to her.
"Are you okay? You look like you were crying." She asked me.
Shit.
"Not really. Harry came to the studio and I basically told him my life story about my ex boyfriend." As soon as it came out if my mouth I regretted it.
"What about your ex boyfriend?"
"I never told you this but my ex boyfriend used to abuse me." I said while staring at the ground.
"What?! Why didn't you tell me?!"
"I don't know. I never told anyone. Anyways I'm really tired I will tell you everything tomorrow I promise." I said.
"Goodnight girly. Love you!" She said while giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"Night love ya too."
I went into my room and put my pajamas on. I climbed into bed and fell into a deep sleep.
