Chapter 37

Sam's P.O.V.

As soon as I told Riley to move out I quickly regretted it. I don't know why I was so harsh. Why would I think my best friend would do that to me?

"I'm gone" she said. As soon as she closed the door I broke down. My boyfriend was lying to me! He just wanted to mess our friendship up. There was a knock at the door. It was him.

"Hey babe" he said trying to kiss me but I quickly dodged it. He gave me a questioning look.

"You lied to me." I said plainly.

"About what?"

"Riley didn't kiss you."

"I know" he said with a smirk. "I just wanted to ruin your friendship because you never spend time with me your always with her" I can't believe he just said that.

"Well now you don't get to see me at all."

"W-what?" He asked.

"We are done. I just kicked Riley out because of you."

"I'm sorry please don't do this!" He said getting teary eyes. I can't stand to see him break like that.

"I'm giving you one more chance!" I said with a smile.

"You won't regret it, babe" he said giving me a kiss. We went up to my room to go to bed. We laid down and eventually fell asleep.

Next morning.

I woke up and saw jake next to me. I unwrapped his arms around me and walked out if the room. I heard someone in Riley's room. I walked over to the door and saw Riley gathering all her things.

"Hey" I said quietly. She turned around and said nothing. Then she went back to packing. "So jake admitted that he was lying. And that he was just trying to ruin our friendship" I said with an awkward giggle.

"Yet your still with him?" She asked.

"Yeah"

"I can't believe I'm saying this but Sam, it's either him or me?" My heart dropped to my stomach. Do I pick my boyfriend who I love so much or my best friend that I've known basically my whole life? I started thinking of reason why I should pick jake and riley. I finally made my decision. Jake came in and stood next to riley, he must've heard us. I started looking between the two. I finally made my decision.

"I choose...

"Jake!" I squealed. Riley looked like I just ripped her heart out and threw it on the ground. "Jake can you give us a minute?" I asked looking at him. He gave me a snap nod and walked out. I turned around and saw Riley sobbing while she continued to pack.

"Riley-"she cut me off.

"No there's nothing that needs to be said. You chose your boyfriend that you've known for what? 3 years? Over you best friend that you've known basically your whole life. It's nice to know you actually cared about this friendship. When you had regret written all over your face last night I thought you would come to your senses. I guess not. Just please don't forget all the memories we had. Don't forget all of the times we snuck out of the house and all the laughs we had together. But you can forget me because you chose your boyfriend. So you know what? Fine. But just know that I will never forget you and I love you. You literally just took a big chunk of my heart and ripped it out. I hope your happy. and I hope you have a good life with your boyfriend. I'm going to stay out of your life because obviously you don't care about me. Goodbye" by the time she was down I had tears streaming down my face. She grabbed a couple of her suitcases and walked out. She came back and I was just sitting on her bed sobbing. She kept coming back until there was nothing let of her room. She turned around.

"Goodbye Sam I love you" she said then closed the door. This made me cry even harder.

Riley's P.O.V.

"Goodbye Sam I love you." I said then walked out if my old bedroom. I left my key on the table by the door with a note that said 'I don't want this. It's just a reminder of you. Give it to your boyfriend instead' I waked out the door looking behind me one more time then got in the car with Danielle. And if you were wondering I am moving into a flat with her. It's been a long day. I fell asleep on the ride to 'our' flat.
