Chapter 63

Riley's P.O.V.




It's been 3 hours and we still have no word from the doctors. Liam hasn't stopped crying. he is shaking violently. I've never seen him so shaken up. Just then Brooke walked in the room.




Everyone gave her the cold shoulder. once she saw how mad everyone is she broke down. I sighed and walked up to her. everyone looked at me in shock. I gently grabbed her arm and dragged her to the bathroom.




Once we got there she wouldn't make eye contact with me.




"Brooke look at me!" I demanded. she slowly lifted her head up. her eyes were red and swollen.




"Why?" she looked at me confused. "why did you do it?" she still had the same expression on her face. "Stop playing dumb with me! why did you kiss Liam?!"




"I just want to be loved." she admitted.




"So you decided to kiss Liam in front of the love of his life seconds before they were about to get married?!" she just shrugged.




"Everyone hates me now. why don't you?"




"I was pissed off with what you did. and don't get me wrong I still am. I know what your feeling. the feeling that you will never be loved right? but I think what we both need to see is that there is someone out there for us. maybe we've already met them, maybe we haven't. but there is someone out there that is going to love you, for you. Listen Brooke, you are beautiful and kind. any guy would be lucky to have you. but Liam isn't the one for you. he's already found his soulmate. and what you did was a bitchy thing to do. But why dwell on the past? the next step you need to do now is apologize to everyone out there and when Danielle wakes up, you need to explain why you did what you did. I'm not mad anymore okay?" she was sobbing.




All of a sudden she pulled me into a tight hug.




"Thank you so much! I'm so sorry!" I pulled away and gave her a small smile. we then walked back out to where everyone is.




They were all sending daggers at Brooke. she looked at me terrified.




"That's enough!" I half yelled. everyone looked at me shocked.




"Why are you being nice to her?!" Louis yelled.




"Your her friend after what she did?!" Niall asked sternly.




"Look guys, I was pissed at her. once we talked I realized that she just wanted to be loved and her first thought was to kiss Liam and make Dani mad." I then looked at her, signaling her to apologize.




She then let out everything we just talked about in the bathroom.




Once she was finished I was waiting for everyone's reaction. Eleanor, Sam, Zayn, and Harry stood up and gave her a hug one by one. Louis, Niall, Perrie, and Liam stood up too. the 3 of them gave her a hug. once she got to Liam they just stared at each other. he stuck his hand out for her to shake. they smiled slightly at each other.




"Excuse me?" we turned around and faced the doctor. "are you guys here for Danielle?" he asked us. we all nodded. "she is seriously injured. she's in critical condition. she's in a coma. we don't know when she will wake up or if she ever will." we all stood there unsure of what to do.
