chapter 39

Riley's P.O.V.

i finished up the rest of my breakfast thinking about what just happened with Sam. its gonna take a lot to be friends again. i looked at my phone and saw i had a missed call from harry. i got up from the table and called him back. it rung 3 times before he picked up.

"hello?" he answered

"hey. you called?" i asked.

"yeah. i wanted to see how you slept? your a really heavy sleeper." he laughed.

"yeah i am and i slept good. thank you for last night, i had a lot of fun."

"it was no problem. we will have to do it again sometime. and i had a good time because you were there." i just giggled at his response.

"okay well i got to go. ill see you later."

"okay bye" he said.

"bye" i said then hung up. i got a text from my best  friend, Parker, saying he was in town from California. i was meeting him a Starbucks. i threw some clothes on then started walking towards Starbucks. when i got there i saw him sitting at a table on his phone. i walked up to him, he stood up and gave me a hug. then i saw a flash. i looked over to see paparazzi. they are going to think we are dating. but Parker has a boyfriend. yup i said it 'boyfriend' you see Parker is gay. that's why hes my best friend because i don't have to worry about him falling love with me.

"I'm sorry about that" i said.

"no its okay" we both sat down. i ordered you your favorite. i gave him a thank you. we started talking but then my phone started ringing. it was harry.

"excuse me" i said then got up.

"hello?" i answered.

"i think you forgot to mention that you had a boyfriend on our date last night."

"what?" i asked confused.

"so were you just gonna lead me on and then tell me you had a boyfriend?"

"what are you talking about?"

"on the news three's a picture of you hugging a guy and then sitting down at Starbucks and talking." after he said that i started cracking up. "what are you laughing at?" he asked. i could tell he was starting to get mad.

"calm you balls.Parker is-s g-gay" i said then went into a fit of laughter.

"w-what?" he asked stuttering.

"hes gay" i said finally calming down.

"oh" was all he said.

"i got to go, talk to you later." i said then hung up. i walked back over to the table.

"who was that?" Parker asked me.

"harry, he thought i was seeing you." then we both started cracking up. i looked at  my phone and saw that Simon texted me saying to be at the studio for practice at 2. i looked at the clock and saw it was 1. i should probably get going because i need to go home change and then walk there.

"i have to get going, Parker. but it was so nice seeing you." i said then standing up and giving me a hug.

"text me anytime! love ya girl." he said in a really high pitched voice.

"bye' i said back then walked out the door. i went home and changed into the same outfit i had on last time but a lime green tank top and different pants. then i told Danielle where i was going and started walking there. when i got i got to the studio, i past the place where the boys are and saw the 5 of them in the room. then i walked down the hall to where i was supposed to go.

after rehearsal

when i was done i grabbed a water and my bag and started walking towards the exit. i past a window and saw it was pouring outside. I'm going to get soaked. i saw the boys still working so i knew i wouldn't be able to get a ride home from them. i looked at my phone and sw it was 6. Danielle is at dance too. i really need to get a car. i knew i was going to have to walk home. 

by the time i got home i was dripping wet. i went up to my room and took a shower.
