Chapter 34

Riley's P.O.V.

"I know your going to hate me when I say who but please just try to stay positive."

"I'm scared now.."

"I got you a job dancing for one direction." She said really fast.

"You what?!" I yelled.

"Just think about living your dream."

"Okay I will do it but if anything happens I'm quitting okay?" I said firmly.

"Okay. I will give you Simons number so you can text him or call him to tell him you will do it" she said. Then she gave me Simons number. I decided to text Simon.

To: Simon

Hi Simon it's Riley! Danielle just told me about a job as a dancer for one direction? Well if its true then I will accept the offer. I had to think this over because of everything going on with harry. I don't know if you know about that.. Lets just say we have had a rough past. But I want to do what I dream of doing and that's dancing so I accept. If you could let me know when and where that would be great! Thanks for the offer!!

I locked my phone and waited for a response.

"Did he respond?" Danielle asked.

"No not ye-" as soon as I said this my phone went off. I opened the message.

From: Simon

Hi Riley! I'm so happy to hear that you accept the offer. Danielle showed me a video of you dancing and I was amazed. We would love for you to be a new dancer for one direction. Harry has told me everything that has happened between you two. What you need to know is that I have no say in what management is making him do. But you really need to know is that harry started cussing them out today. He was saying that he didn't want to date that girl because he was in love with you. He said that he would sacrifice the band for you. Management finally agreed to letting him day who he wants. I can tell he is in love with you. So if you could come to the studio at 10 tomorrow morning that would be great.

"Well?" She said.

"Your looking at the new dancer of one direction!" I squealed.

"We'll I gotta go. See ya!"

"Thank you for the job!" I yelled back.

"You deserve it" I finished my drink and left Starbucks. I got in the car and started driving to my flat. When I got there I got my 4 bags out of the back and walked in the door.

"You did shopping without me?!" Sam gasped.

"Yeah. $700 dollars later.."

"Holy shit did you really spend 700 dollars?" She asked with big eyes.

"Yup?" I said popping the p

"I'm really happy we are the same size!" She laughed. "Oh and harry called. He's coming over to talk to you later."

"Wow thanks for telling me" I went upstairs and changed into a pair of my yoga shorts and a shirt. I was on my computer when I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in" the door opened and it revealed harry.

"Hi" I said shyly.

"Hey" he said still standing in the doorway.

"You can come in, I don't bite" I said giggling.

"So I talked to-"

"I know" I said before he could finish.

"What? How?" He asked confused.

"I talked to simon"

"Uh why?" He asked. I was deciding if I should tell him.

"I'm a new background dancer for you guys."

"Really?!" He asked excitedly.

"Yes." I said giving him a small smile. "So about what you said the other night... Did you mean it?"

"Every word I said."

"Harry I really appreciate you saying all of that but" as soon as I said but his face fell. "But you have broken my trust once again. We can be friends. Nothing more. I can't be in a relationship with someone who I have no idea if he's going to ditch me for someone else. I do love you, don't get me wrong. Right now we have a love hate relationship going on. We can be friends and see where it goes from there." I said smiling. "Oh and I don't know if you want you necklace back that you gave me?" I asked.

"No you can keep it. And friends it is. It's better than hating each other I guess" he said looking down.

"Are you going to be at the studio tomorrow morning?" I asked him.

"Yup are you?"

"Yup" I replied.

"Do you need a ride?"

"No it's okay I can just walk."

"No I insist."

"Okay" all of a sudden there was a loud boom of thunder. I jumped into Harry's lap.

"I'm sorry" I said giggling.

"I'm guessing your scared if thunder?" He asked laughing.

"Terrified actually. Lets look at the news to see what going on." I said. I turned on my tv, to the news channel. The news said they were encouraging drivers to stay off the road till the storm blows over. Me and harry looked at each other.

"Maybe I should go before it gets worse." He said.

"Are you crazy?! You can stay in the guest room."

"Are you sure I don't want to intrude" he said unsure.

"No it's fine" I said smiling. "Let's go downstairs and watch a movie with sam" I said. We both got up and went downstairs.

"Sam harry is staying in the guest bedroom tonight. Want to watch a movie?"I asked her. We ended up watch 'Love Actually'

The movie ended and I managed to stay awake. Everybody was in bed now. I was about to fall asleep when a loud crack of thunder woke me back up. I hate being alone in thunder storms. I decided to go into the guest bedroom with harry. I walked in the room.

"Harry" I half whispered.

"Riley? Are you okay" he asked his voice all scratchy.

"I don't like being alone in thunder storms." I said whimpering. "Can I sleep with you?" I asked.

"Uhh-"

"Never mind. I'm sorry for waking you up."I was about to walk out.

"No it's fine. You can sleep here" he said. I walked over next to the bed. Harry scooted over so I would have room. He was so warm. I cuddled up against his bare chest.

"Thank you harry" I mumbled.

"Your welcome, love" when he said love it fluttered my heart. And there I fell asleep in my best friends arms.
