Chapter 20

Riley's P.O.V.

I looked at myself in the mirror and realized I am ugly. I lifted up my shirt just to see a fat stomach. I crouched over the toilet and made myself throw up.

Sam's P.O.V.

Riley ran to the bathroom and I hear her throwing up. So hasn't complained about feeling sick so I know she is making herself throw up. I tried knocking on the door but she won't open it. I hear her phone start ringing. I went over to it and saw harry was calling. Should I answer or ignore it? Lets hear what he has to say.

"What the hell do you want?" I asked harshly.

"Don't let Riley watch tv." He said

"It's to late harry. Give it up. You aren't ready for a relationship. You don't get it do you? You don't know when to stop huh? Harry, she cut herself because of you. Someone hurt her harry. And we don't know who. Just do us all a favor and stay out of Riley's life okay? Not only did you cheat on her on graduation but in a club too. How do you think she feels right now? I know she doesn't feel good because she is making herself throw up in the bathroom as we speak. She was looking for you for help. But you weren't there for her. So just leave us and her alone okay?" I said finishing my rant.

"Sam you don't understand, I can't just leave her alone I love her."

"If you love her then why did you cheat on her?" I asked. He stayed silent. "That's what I thought so just stay away from Riley okay?" I said and I hung up before I could let him reply. I haven't heard Riley in a while and she is still in the bathroom. I went to the doorknob and realized it was now unlocked. I opened the door and saw Riley sitting on the floor sobbing while holding her wrists. I ran over to her and moved her hand away from her wrists. There was more cuts on her wrists.

"Why?" I asked looking her dead in the eye.

"i finally realized why Harry cheated on me." she said with a tear falling down her face.

"why. im sure the reasons are not true."

"i looked in the mirror and realized how ugly and fat i am. i bet the girl harry cheated on me with was a goregous skinny girl." she said while sobbing.

"dont you dare call yourself those things ever aginokay?!!!. none of them are true.you are beautiful no matter what anyone tells you. i need you to promise me somethng. and if you break the promise i wont be your friend anmore okay?" i said

"what?"

"promise me you will stop cutting?"

Riley's P.O.V.

"promise me you will stop cutting?" she asked me. i want to promise her but its my only release. its not worth losig our friendship though.

i sighed " i promise." i said with a smile. we walked out of the bathroom and i went back to the bed. there was a knock at the door. sam walked over to the door and opened it. behind it revealed a worried looking Harry.

"what are you doing here?" sam asked harshly.

" im here to see Riley." he said out of breath.

"sam, can you give us a minute?" i asked. she gave me a nod and a small smile as she walked out the door.

"why are you here? to tell me how ugly i am and that the girl you kissed was a lot better looking and skinnier than me? to tell me that you cheated in me because you hate me?" i asked with tears streaming down my face.

"i came here to apologize to you for what i did. you are goregous and the girl i kissed was nothing compared to you." he said with tears brimming his eyes.

"because of you i cut." i picked up my wrists and showed them to him. he looked at them wide eyed. i forgot the ones that are still bleeding a little.

"when did you do those?" he ask me with a tear falling down his face.

"i did these the night i came here. and i did these just before you came here and after i saw the news." i said to him with anger filling my voice.

somewhat of a long chapter. thanks for reading guys!! the next chapter will be up sometime sunday or so. i have been really busy lately. i will try to update when i can. Again I don't know what happened but in order to see chapter 21 you have to go to the listings and click on chapter 21.
