chapter 52

Riley's P.O.V.

i just closed the door. i let out a big sigh.

2 weeks later

me and Louis are on our way to and outdoor movie, they are showing love actually. im going with Niall. him and Brooke broke up a couple days ago. we are going as just friend. i dont feel that way about him. when we got there we grabbed the blanket and started walking to find a spot to sit. finally when we found a spot we put the blanket down.

"I'm going to get drinks." i said. when i got to the vendor i saw the familiar mop of brown curls. he turned around and saw me.

"hey" he said.

"hi"

"who are you here with?" he asked me.

"Niall, you?"

"that blond girl i was at the studio with. i asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes and here we are."

"good I'm happy for you."

"thanks, well i gotta get back. bye!" he said then walked away. i got Niall a sprite and me a water. i walked back to where we were sitting. the movie started. halfway through the movie Niall turned and looked at me. his eyes flickered to my lips. he started leaning in. i was just sitting there unsure of what to do. i don't like Niall that way. when i felt his lips on mine, i felt nothing. he started deepening it. he tried to push me so i was laying down. i pushed him off me.

"I'm sorry Niall but i don't feel that way."

"harry what are you looking at?!" i heard a girl screech. i turned and saw hary staring directly at me and Niall. i got up and ran. i ran away from them. i started walking home. someone came up beside me. i turned and looked and saw it was harry.

"why are you here?"

"i came to see if you were okay"

"I'm fine" i said. i got in my car that my mom got me. i was driving home. i came to a red light so i stopped. when it turned green i stepped on the gas. i looked to my right and saw headlights coming straight at me. then i felt the impact. i hit my head on the steering wheel. it sent me flying into the guard rail. i hit my head on the window too. i remember trying to stay awake. there was glass all over my body, i had cuts everywhere. i could feel a lump forming on my head. im pretty sure its bleeding. the paramedics got me out of the car and put me on a stretcher. then everything went black.

Harry's P.O.V.

"I'm fine" she said then walked away. i went back to the movie and sat down on the ground with grace, my girlfriend. i heard Niall yelling.

"WHAT?! is she okay?!! okay ill be right there." then got up and ran to his car. i followed him. i got in my car and followed him to where ever he was going. when we pulled into the hospital i knew something happened. i got out and ran up to Niall.

"why are you here?" i asked him.

"Riley was in a car accident. a drunk driver smashed into her." my heart dropped. i called the rest of the boys and my mom. they are all on their way. me and Niall ran in and asked the nurse where she was. they told us room 240. we ran till we got to the room. Riley was laying there with a bandage on her head and was covered in bandages. the doctor came in.

"are you friends?" we nodded.

"what happened?" Niall asked.

"she was going through an intersection and she was hit on the drivers side. witnesses said they saw her hit her head on the steering wheel. then that caused her hit the guard rail. then she hit her head on the window. she lost a good amount of blood. she has some pretty bad injuries but nothing life threatening. no broken bones. she was lucky, they could've been a lot worse." he said then walked out of the room.

"so you and Riley?" i asked Niall.

"what? no! i kissed her but she pushed me off. she still loves you."

"what no she doesn't, if she did she would've forgiven me"

"she was gonna, harry. but then she saw you out with that girl, kissing and hugging and she decided to let you move on."

"really?" i asked shocked.

"yeah I'm not lying! she tells me and the boys everything."

"You have been hanging out with her?!"

"yeah! you were always busy with your girlfriend. you've changed harry, a lot."

"what do you mean?" i asked confused.

"ever since you and Riley broke up, you have never had time for us anymore. even your mom says that you haven't been the same person, me and the boys agree with her. every time we ask if you want to go out you always say 'I'm busy with grace' its like shes your new best friend, that you always hang out with. Louis is devastated because he lost his best mate. you have been ignoring him. every night the four of us talk about it and Louis just breaks down sobbing. and you know Lou, he never cries. your replacing us, harry. we miss the old you. what happened to bros before hoes? we want the old harry back." he finished and walked out of the room. i was processing everything he just told me. then i realized that everything he said was true.

Riley's P.O.V.

i heard every word of Niall and Harry's conversation. when Niall walked out i slowly opened my eyes. harry was looking right at me.

"wheres your girlfriend?"

"i broke up with her."

"oh" i said.

"because-"

"i know, i heard you guys talking." i said.

"i never stopped loving you. i didn't think you were going to forgive me so i tried moving on. and that note that you wrote. the only girl i want to marry and have kids with is sitting right here in front of me. the reason Darcy died was not your fault okay? from what Danielle tole me, you were and awesome mom and I'm sorry i was never there to help you. I'm sorry i took no part in Darcy's life, I'm just sorry for everything." his head was on my lap and he was sobbing. i picked his head up and looked him in his red puffy green eyes.

"i never stopped loving you. when Niall kissed me i felt nothing absolutely nothing. i was going to tell you that i forgave you but then i saw you were out with that girl. so i decided to let you move on."

"Riley can we just forget about this fight? will you be my lovely fiance once again?"

"yes!" i squealed. then we shared our first kiss in almost 3 weeks.
