Tears are rolling down my cheek as I say the words: 'Do whatever you want to do but let this innocent girl go!'

He drops the girl and comes at me. I'm shaking and feel powerless. The other man keeps an eye on the little, scared girl. The gray jacket man pulls a knife out of his pocket and stands right in front of me. He presses his knife to my throat. I start to feel dizzy, he is going to kill me!

Out of nowhere Mason and Zach show up, highly speeded. Mason rapidly grabs the long jacket man right in front of me and Zach the betrayer man. I watch Mason's eyes turn black and then, without hesitating sinks his teeth into the man's neck. He doesn't looks so friendly now..

Zach on the other hand is toying around with the betrayer. He is gloating.. Doesn't surprise me though.

Believe it or not, but for the first time Zach was right about something. This is what they deserve.

I wake up from my thoughts and quickly run to the little girl and put my hand in front of her eyes: I'm pretty sure she is really disoriented about this turn of events. This is a jarring experience to me, so what would it do to the girl?

Then I run into the most left tent and look around: empty. After that I run into the tent in the middle: a dead, golden retriever dog lying in the tent. I feel a sting in my heart:

'This could have been Chica'. I immediately think.

There is a foul odor in this tent because of the dog so I quickly get out of it. Then I check the tent in the right. I look around and see two little girls tied up. They are full of bruises and they are looking very anxious.

I untie their ropes, reassure them and at the same time ask if they are able to stay in this tent for a few more minutes. They nod, so I quickly get out of the tent. I see that the man in the long jacket and Mason and Zach are standing there, next to each other. The man in the long jacket is standing next to Mason at the left side. I notice the betrayer man was lying on the ground a few feet behind Zach.

'What's with him?' I say as I point at the man lying on the ground.

"Oops, my bad" Zach says as he looks behind him.

I'm mad at them for bringing me into this, but I am also grateful for seeing what's happening not far away from me.

"We need to get the girls out of the tent, make them forget and take them to a police station". Mason suggests as he walks towards the tent. Right after he wants to go inside the tent, he turns around and adds:

"Zach, will you take care of him?" he points at the long jacket man. "But don't kill him".

Zach nodds and smiles at the man with a 'I am going to kill you' kind of smile.

I run to Mason who was going into the tent and see him making them, one by one, forget about everything that was done to them and he let them believe they were playing in the woods and got lost.

Mason and I walk out of the tent with the two girls and as soon as we get out, we see Zach dragging the dead man into the tent where the dead dog is at. Mason and I quickly cover the girls' eyes and after that, we walk away to leave the compelled disoriented, yet alive long jacket man behind with the dead dog and betrayer.

Then Mason, Zach, the three kids at my side and I walk towards town.

When we arrive at Delzyle, Mason stops walking and says: "You can go home now, if you want".

A few hours ago, I would have been happy about him offering that, but now I just actually want to stay with him.

'How about the kids?' I ask.
