Physical Or Mental Pain

I lie stiffened in bed. Everything's dark but somehow I am able to see the black shadow that is looking to be staring at me. I feel its eyes piercing through me. Electric shocks are going through my body and I hear a loud murmur in my ears. Is this how death feels like? Are my parents going to find me like this.. in my death bed?

Then I see the black appearance is moving towards me. My heart is pounding like it is going to explode as I silently watch it coming my way. The shadow is not even a meter away from me right now and it's still staring at me. It starts talking, but I can't understand what it's saying. It sounds like an outer space language.

Suddenly the thing is bringing out its arm and I see it is holding something. I look at the thing the shadow is holding and notice it is a little ticking clock.

Not long afterwards, I'm able to move and speak again. But the shadow has vanished and I feel my whole body is shaking. I turn on the light that is standing on the side table and look at my clock.

6:15 A.M

I've slept for 10 minutes..

What was this and why does it has to be so incredibly scary and real-looking? I stare forward for 5 minutes to progress this experience and in the meantime I start feeling a little more calmer. The fear of falling asleep again makes me continue the book I've started to read a few weeks ago: Harry Potter.

The book withers me away but then my alarm buzzes the 7:00 sound. I press the button to shut the loud noise off and realize I'm not even tired.

After 10 minutes of major thinking of making a decision whether to go to school or not, I finally decide to get over it and just go to school.

When I sit in my bus to school I feel dizzy and sleepy again. Perhaps I didn't had enough sleep after all.. After half an hour the bus arrives and I step out of it. I look around to look if Alissa's near, but my surmises were true: she's probably not showing up today. Now it's only 5 minutes walking towards my school.

I silently trudge through the hallways towards history class and sit down in a random seat nearby the teacher's office. Ilze, a friend of mine who I've known since I was 7 suddenly takes a seat next to me. I look surprised, yet tired at her but she starts talking before I could utter my astonishment.

"Hey, Mandy. Good to see you again, it's been a while. How are you?"

'Hey Ilze. Woah, that was indeed a long time ago' I chuckle. 'I'm fine though, just a little tired at the moment' I add.

"Great to hear Men, I've heard you were missing. What's that all about?" She asks.

How does she know that this soon? I immediately think.

'Yes that's true, but I wasn't actually missing. I was at Alissa's the entire time but didn't told my parents, that's why I was "missing"'.

She nods friendly. "Good to hear you're fine Mandy. I got to go now, hurry to class before I'm not able to enter it anymore because I'm 1 minute late.. " Ilze says as she rolls her eyes. "Catch you later!" She adds as she is already walking away.

'Thanks and see you later!' I respond as I wave shy.

The teacher is walking in now, history starts and it immediately starts to literally gets me tired. Even more tired than I already was.. Luckily the hour gone by faster than I thought it to be and I walk out of class. When I walk through the busy hallways where a lot of students are leaving their class right now, I start to feel extremely dizzy. For a second I think to faint but that doesn't happen. Maybe I just need some air..

When I walk outside the dizziness gets worse. I fall to my knees without making a sound and just hope I will faint eventually. Then Mason's standing next to me. I have no idea what he is doing but I'm too tired to speak. He's lifting me and then drags me to his dark blue car and puts me down in his passenger seat. I just let it happen. He sits down, opens the windows and drives away.

On our way to wherever, something suddenly clashes against his car. Mason heavily brakes and the car now stands still in the middle of the quiet and with trees surrounded road.

"Stay here" Mason says.

As if I can run away in this condition.. I think

He gets out of the car and looks around. Out of nowhere Zach is standing in front of him and stabs him with something.

"Well, well. Karma's a bitch isn't it?" Zach says.
