Intruder Unknown

I stand in the door opening and look with abhorrence at Zach.

"Come in Mandy! I won't bite.." Zach sarcasticly says as he smiles at me.

I carefully walk inside and look at mum who doesn't say a word, she only looks back at me.

'What did you do to her Zach?!' I ask furious.

He stands up from the couch and walks towards me. "Relax, I didn't do anything bad. We only had a little chat, nothing more.."

He tries to put his hand behind my back to lead me to the couch but I dodge that move.

'Don't you dare touching me!' I loudly make clear.

With no attention for Zach I walk towards mum. 'What did he do?' I ask concerned.

"Nothing bad, we only had a little chat". She neutrally replies.

This is exactly how Zach said it.. I quickly turn around to Zach.

'ZACH! What did you do? You've brainwashed her?!'

He ignores my question and puts the TV on like he is at home and I'm not here being concerned about whatever he might have done to my mum.

I'm furious, too furious. Not even a little anxious. I walk towards Zach and just as I wanted to chop his head off with my pillow, I read the news on TV:

**Two days ago, at the road to Apping, a deadly car accident had taken place. There is one bereavement with major blood loss**.

**JUST NOW: Missing woman found dead on the open road of Delzyle. Cause of death and perpetrator are still unknown**

**Due the circumstances a curfew is set at 7PM**

Meanwhile Zach found his comfort on the couch with his legs on the table. I look at the second newsflash again.

It reads: "JUST NOW". Was that the reason the ambulance just rushed by?

Then Zach stands up from the couch "I've always been amazed of by how fast they put news on TV".

Of course.. how could I have been so blind! Zach did this, all of this!

When I get out of my thoughts Zach stands right in front of me. I startle, look with disgust at him and push him away from me. 'You did that?!' I ask angry.

He shrugs his shoulders and responds "yes, no, maybe so".

I'm not going to think twice about it and slap him in the face. After I did that I was scared. What if he is going to hurt me back? I immediately regret what I did..

He looks so angry at me.. I haven't seen him looking so angry at me before, yet he seems to be in perfect control. Seemed. Because what he does next is something I totally didn't expected.

He grabs my throat, and not really restrainedly. I look straight into his cold, angry blue eyes with no clue what he is capable of right now. He turns his head to my mum and gestures at her. She now comes at us. Zach let me go and I immediately gasp for air. When I look up, I notice Zach is standing way too close to her. I look scared around for something sharp like a knife. As I look, I noticed a scissor is laying at the sideboard. I quietly walk backwards towards the sideboard and grab the scissor. I hold it behind my back as I cautionary walk towards him. Then I notice Zach looks more pale than ever and he has this dark black eyes. All of that in front of my mum. Every move he makes is a threat to me right now.

'Please, don't hurt her!' I yell

He looks back at me.

'I beg you!' I add.

But he doesn't listen.. Instead he does the very opposite. He's doing something I was most afraid of: he bites her.

'Stop, STOP!' I yell as I run towards him trying to stop him myself.

I desperately try to rip him off of her but I fail. He's supernatural strong so it means nothing to him what I cause at my own strength..

I slam hard with my fists on his back, knowing it means nothing to him but I just have to try something. But it just doesn't affect him. The next thing I do is something I'm most afraid for.. but it's the last and only thing I can try: I stab the scissor in his back..

I quickly walk away from him because I'm not sure what he might do to me right now, it can't be good.. He turns around to me and looks painful, yet angry at me.

Out of nowhere the door opens and I see Mason is standing in the door opening. 'MASON THANK GOD! Please help my mother!' I plea as I run towards him for safety.

But Mason doesn't come in and he looks hesitatingly at me. "I can't come in, as weird as it sounds, but you have to invite me in first".

I look surprised at Mason and I decide to do what he told me to do.

'Please c..' I try to say but Zach interrupts me before I can finish my sentence.

He suddenly stands in front of me. "Don't invite him in". He determinately says.

But because I'm so scared of Zach and I trust Mason, I finish the sentence I started:

'Come in!' I quickly say.

Mason rapidly rushes in. When I look at Zach, I see he is looking mad at me and then he holds me tight. I desperately point to my mother who is laying on the ground unconscious. Mason sees her, gets mad, pushes me away from Zach and starts attacking him. I can't believe my eyes when I look at this.. Mason stabs Zach with the seat leg that he just ripped off from one of the chairs in front of him. I look around for a more safe place. When I find the safe place, I run towards it. From that 'safe' corner I watch them fighting and fighting, but it isn't a regular fight.

They are running with unnatural speed and stab each other with objects like the ruler that lay on the table, a seat leg and even a table-leg. Every weird thing where you can stab oneself with, if owning enough strength has been used by them..

My house is a mess now, everything is everywhere and the time seems to have been slowed down from the moment Zach attacked my mother.

Out of nowhere the door falls open and a few armored men are intruding my house. They start shooting at Zach and Mason.

No... a fight was already too much, I don't want Zach and Mason to kill someone else at this house either! But my thoughts are being proved otherwise; Zach and Mason fell to the ground like they were..

dead..?

What?! How can this be happening right now? They're vampires so they are immortal and invincible, right?! The armored men are now walking towards Mason and Zach and start injecting them with something.

'Mason, MASON!' I yell as I run towards him.

But they hold me back, away from Mason..

'He's innocent!'

One of the armored men that is holding me back now starts speaking : "They're vampires.. their very existence isn't innocent"

I refuse to believe that and still try to run at Mason who laying unconscious on the ground. Unfortunately I get hold back again.

'Let me at least be with him!' I say as I point at Mason.

"As you wish.." The man says and then injects me with something too. I feel myself fainting away.. my body totally shutting down. I can't move and in no time, I can't see anymore. Everything is getting blurry. I feel myself falling to the ground but at the very last moment, I feel someone catches me.
