I look anxiously at Zach. His eyes have turned totally black. This time I hope it's the anger, and not.. the other thing..
What is he going to do now? If he comes at me, the man will cut my throat right away. But what if he doesn't do it? Would he kill me anyway? I think, panicking.
But before I could blink, I hear a bang followed by a falling sound, and notice Zach's not standing a few feet in front of me anymore. I startle and carefully look behind me to see what happened. Zach's standing right behind me, and the man is lying on the ground with his eyes closed.
I breathe heavily, the assurance of being alive returns. 'What did you do?'. I ask confused, yet relieved.
"Well, you see. I hit him with my fist.. Apparently in a way that was too much for him to handle, so.. I guess he's unconscious now". Zach says, sounding serious at the beginning. But after he finished, he starts smiling.
I start laughing a little too, but then feel I still got a little cut in my neck which is still bleeding. 'Ouch'. I say, and put my hand on the cut preventing it to bleed more.
"Let me help you". He says, sounding serious again.
I look at him, and see his clear blue green eyes looking in mine, being utterly concerned about my condition. This wasn't what I imagined him to be like when I first met him.. I thought he was ruthless, and aggressive.
In the meantime Zach helped me getting inside the house. I sit down on the couch while still holding my hand on the wound. 'Thanks'.
He nods. "So..". He says, sitting down right next to me. "I have two options for you". He says, smiling a little.
I look curious. 'And what's that?'. I ask.
"Option one is bandage".
".. And option two is the one where you feel pain for a second, but after that second, all is cured". He adds, leaving a few seconds of silence between the first and second option.
'I'm good with option one'. I respond. 'Option two feels as if I'm cheating life.
"I understand". He says, and gets up from the couch. "I'll get you some bandages".
'H-how about the unconscious bald-man outside?' I quickly ask before he could walk around the corner.
He walks a few steps back. "He'll be gone for a while. Besides, if he wakes up earlier than expected, I'll hear it. And since he hasn't got any weapons, we got nothing to worry about". He responds.
'Right'.
Zach now disappears behind the corner, leaving the entire room being quiet.
I look around in the room I've been in quite often recently, and I'm still astonished by the design of it. It looks so.. fairylike. I just have no other words to describe it.
When I look back at the table, I can see Zach is sitting right next to me again. 'Gee, you startled me!'. I laughingly say, giving him a little push. 'I never get used to that'.
"Used to what?". He innocently asks.
'You just want to hear me say it, don't you'. I respond, still laughing.
"You mean this?'. He says as he now stands at the other side of the room.
But a few seconds later, when I don't see him standing on the other side of the room anymore, I look around.
"And this?". I hear from behind me. As reflex I turn around and face Zach, who kisses me before I could even fully turn around.
The moment's just.. perfect. But it feels wrong at the same time. I mean, Alyssa didn't warn me for nothing. So I turn my head away a little, forcing to stop it.
