Coming home

A month later
Shawn pov:
"Come here niea !," I said to my daughter as she walked slowly to me holding her bottle in her hand.
Niea was getting so big almost 1 years old now. I was excited to watch her grow but at the same time Nicki was never around to see it all happen.
Today she was coming home after 4 long weeks of being away on interviews and stuff.
Most of the time I felt a little suspicious about her leaving for so long. Her manager Ronda had this thing when she keeps nicki from calling or interacting with niea and I. I knew for a fact nobody could be that busy.
"You sleepy moma?".
I asked niea as she laid her head on my shoulder. At times like this I wish she could talk.
I took niea into our bedroom and started rocking her to sleep when Tiea had called me.

(Phone conversation)
Shawn: "hello?"

Tiea: "hi Shantae !."

Shawn: "la'tiea what do you want? And how do you keep getting my number?."

Tiea: "I have my ways! But I don't want anything just wondering if you want to spend time with your child? Or was you serious about not being in her life?."

Shawn: "I was pretty serious!"

Tiea: "that's so foul! So sense you and Nicki had a baby you decide your other daughter isn't important?."

Shawn: "I been decided that!. I'm not dealing with you! I told you I love Nicki and I don't want nothing to do with you or that child. Your not about to ruin my relationship!."

Tiea: "so your corny ass relationship comes before your child?."

Shawn: "Tiea I don't care to have this conversation with you!!!! If you will excuse me my daughter needs to be put to sleep!." (Nicki walks in and grabs Shawn from behind.)

Tiea: "ok and your OTHER DAUGHTER!!!!!!! Needs to see you!!!!"

Shawn: "what ever ..... Like I said I'm not .........."

(Nicki takes the phone slowly  and hangs it up).

Nicki pov:
"Who was that?"  I said looking in Shawns eyes as she grabbed my waist.
"Nobody! I missed you how you get here so fast?"
Shawn said to me. Instead of answering her question I kissed her deeply.
"What happened to your wrist ?" Shawn asked me as she took my hand.
I looked at the bruise on my wrist and smiled at her.
"I'm not sure maybe it's from dancing!" I said as Shawn looked closer.
"You sure?? It looks like a hand print!"
Shawn said as she grabbed my arm.
"Oh it's from my body guards when people are trying to run up to me sometimes it's a little to crazy and they don't realize how hard they are pulling me."
I said as Shawn looked at me crazy.
"Ok Onika well tell them to chill!!."
She said as I smiled and kissed her agin.
"I will babe!  I missed you! I'm so happy to see you!."
I said hugging Shawn tightly. I was definitely glad to be home.
"I missed you too! But can I ask you something?"
She said as I picked up niea from the bed.
"Ask me what?."
I said as she responded.
"It's about arevaya! I'm her mom I don't want to keep pushing her out of my life! That's scandals I only did it so you can be at peace. So is it ok if I spend time with my baby?."
Shawn asked me.
"If corse Shawn! I'd never keep you away from your child . She's more then welcome to come over here anytime ! It's her mother I don't like!."
I said as Shawn nodded her head.
"Ok wait! Did you fall ? What's that on your arm!."
Shawn asked laughing.
"Yeah ! Last week I feel in the hotel room I tripped over my suitcase!." I said as Shawn and I laughed at the purple marks on my arm.
"Dang! Be carful Nicki!",
Shawn said as I walked over to our bed to cuddle sleeping niea.
"Don't you even think about waking her up!!!!."
Shawn said slapping my hand away from niea.
"I just want to hold her !!! I haven't seen her in a month shawn!!!."
I said still trying to wake her.
"Move Onika she just went to sleep that's your fault you haven't seen her! Don't be trying to wake my baby up!!."
Shawn said hitting my hand agin.
"She's my baby too! I'll wake her if I want to!!."
I said wining and picking her up.
"See now she's waking up! Your Finna be up with her all night!!!." Shawn said shaking her head.
"No she's not Finna be up all night!, shut up Shawn!."
I said as she shook her head at me agin.
"Ehhhhh!." Niea fussed as Shawn looked at me.
"That's what you get for fucking with her ! Now put her back to sleep!."
Shawn said walking out of the room.
I was more than happy to be back home not only to see my family but to be away from the biggest issue I had in my life.
After I had put niea back to sleep I placed her gently in her crib and took a shower. Once I got out I noticed that Shawn wasn't in the bed yet and it's been about 3 hours sense I've been home. Normally she watched tv down stairs and fell asleep and I had to wake her and make her go upstairs.
Instead of getting dressed I left my towel wrapped around me hair wet and
all and went down stairs.
