Nicki pov:
"What happen to that little card I sat on the counter?."
I asked meek as I came from the kitchen of the hotel room.
"You talking bout the one with the flowers on it?."
He said chewing on the tooth pick in his mouth.
"Yeah it was a birthday card! What did you do with it meek!."
I asked still looking around the room for it.
"I threw it away. I thought it was trash."
He said pointing to the silver Ben that was full of paper.
"Meek that was a birthday card for Shantae! It had tickets to the hawks game! Why would you throw it away?." I asked confused.
"Because I though it was trash ! I just told you nic (laughing) my bad! But why you get her tickets for a game that's in Atlanta GA?," meek asked laying back in bed.
"Because that's where Shawn was born and raised. She loves the Hawks! Now can you get it out of the trash!."
I asked him as he shook his head no.
"Um not really ! I don't want to dig in the trash!."
Meek said still laughing.
"You threw it in there though! And besides its recycling not trash so it's not gone kill you!." I said grabbing my phone.
"Nic just by some new ones damn!." Meek said looking at me as I looked back at him in silence.
"I can't !!! It's sold out and those were court side seats! Plus VIP after party!. Quit being stupid meek and please get it out of the been I need to give them to her!."
I said shaking my head as meek got up and got the card from the trash can.
"Happy?." He said laughing.
"It's not funny and thank you!." I said kissing his lips.
"You taking her to the game?."
He asked me as he brushed back his waves.
"I was planning on it why?." I asked as he shook his head at me.
"Nothing I mean you act like you owe this chick something. I know she your baby mom and stuff but why do you feel the need to do nice Hingis for her?"
Meek asked as o smiled.
"Are jealous?."
I asked laughing.
"Naw man I ain't !!! I'm just saying like damn! If she was my ex she wouldn't even get a happy birthday!."
Meek said as we both started laughing. Meek was ok with me being social with Shawn and spending some days with her because of Ta'niea but he did get a little but hurt when holidays and things would come around and I still consider Shawn. I've moved on but in all honesty the love was still there. I wasn't going to treat her like she never meant anything to me.

"It's ok meek it's just a birthday present! Besides if I wanted to be with Shawn I'd just ask her and if she said yes I'd leave you in heart beat!." I said smiling at him.
"Watch yo mouth nic!."
Meek said as we both laugh.
"Chill out! I don't want to be with Shawn! And if I did my family wouldn't approve anyway so it's not like that between us.!"
I said as meek nodded. "Coo! I trust you but is that the only reason you ain't white her? Cuz ya moms?"
Meek said as I looked at him for a second.
"Of corse not!." I said looking back at the mirror to do my hair.
"You sure ? I mean you seem a little hesitant when I asked!." Meek said waiting for me to respond.
"No meek that's not the reason!. Well it is but it's not! Look here is what happen," I said starting to tell him the story.
"My sister Ronny set Shawn up to make her and I brake up. Shawn is very short tempered and Ronny hit niea so Shawn beat her for hitting niea and also lying on her to brake us up. I didn't know the real so I left Shawn and she moved out. Once I found out the real , my mother and father refused to accept Shawn because she beat my sister up. So my family doesn't like her so I decided to move on. But there's not a chance with us so you don't really have to worry.!"
I said as meek nodded.
"Ok I see!. That makes perfect sense!." Meek said kissing my forehead.
"I love you!,"
I said as he walked away.
"Love you too nic!,"
Meek said as he left the hotel room.
About an hr later I shot Shawn a text.

Shawn: "almost! Niea is going over to Tyeashas with Kim though!,"
