The meet up with tiea

A week later:
Tiea pov:
"Hey will you guys sweep in here please! Maintenance is coming to lay carpet down in a few minutes!" I say to my employees as I sat at my desk.
I've been working on my hair/nail salon all week before the grand opening  at the end of the month.
I couldn't believe it was all finally happing. I've only waited 12 years of my life to get here!.
(Ring!!!!!)
My phone rang as I got settled in. "Hello this is miss willams!" I said waiting for a response. Surprisingly the voice on the other end of the phone was tae!.
Honestly it was the last voice I wanted to here. Even though we had parted our separate ways I still had a lot of love for this girl bottled up inside just waiting to get out.
"Hey are you busy today can we meet up?"
Tae asked. It seemed like she was in a really good mood.
"No just working in the salon! What time do you want to meet?"
I asked waiting for a response. "Just call me when your done! I just want to see how the baby is doing."
Tae said as my heart dropped. I didn't think she would even care to check on the baby but she did.
"The baby is fine!" I said pulling my hair behind my ear.
"Well I would like to see for myself."
Tae says as she starts laughing.
"Ok fine I'll call you when I'm done here and we can meet.! Have lunch or something!"
I say as the maintenance crew walks in. "Ok tae I have to go I'll see you later!" I say as I hang the phone up.
"Hey can you guys lay the black carpet down to cover every inch of the floor please! It's not well ventilated in here from this hard wood!" I say as they nod at me.
"Hey babe !" Trina says walking in the doors of the salon holding flowers.
"Hey are those for me?" I ask confused as she nodded her head and kissed my cheek.
"Yeah I was thinking about you wanted to come see you and see how my baby is doing!" Trina said rubbing my belly. "She's doing fine ! Moving a lot!" I say as Trina smilies. It felt good to have a bond so strong with Trina and knowing I was having her baby made things much better. I knew she would be the best mom to our baby girl.
"So did you tell Shan'tae it's not her baby yet?"
Trina asked as I shook my head no.
"Why haven't you? You know that's going to start a big mess if you don't! The quicker you let her know the faster we can get her and Nicki off our backs!" Trina said as her and I sat down.
"Well she wants to meet today so I'm going to tell her then! It will be ok!" I say kissing Trina gently on the lips.
A few hours later tae and I meet up at an old restaurant called dennys. We use to eat there once a week when we where in high school.
As I waited at the table tae had walked in looking stunning as usual. She had on a cute fitted maroon dress that stopped mid thigh wit a army green blazer along with matching army green knee high boots.
Her gold jewelry flashed from a mile away and the bounce in her curly hair couldn't be anymore flawless.
"Hey!" She said sitting down placing her cream Chanel bag next to her.
"Hi! You like nice! Now I feel all under dressed!" I say as we both laugh.
"You look fine! Cute boots!" Tae says to me as we start talking about the baby.
"So how has she been? Is she healthy? Growing good?" Shawn asked as the waiter sat down our food.
"She's been doing fine! The doctor said she's healthy! She should be here next month!"
I said as Shawn smiled.
"You excited?" She asked as we ate.
"Yeah! It's going to be amazing!" I said as her phone started ringing.  Before it could go off another second tae had pressed ignore.
Her phone rang once more and she still didn't answer.
"Who's that?" I say as she shook her head.
"Nobody! Just Onika!" She said. To my surprise. Normally she would have blown me off to tend to her girlfriend. "Everything ok with y'all?" I ask specifically to be nosey.
"I'm fine! I'm sure she's fine but we broke up last week and we haven't talked sense. I'm not sure why she's calling me now!".
Tae says looking at her phone.
"What happened?"
I ask again just being nosey.
"Well I told her I still had some feelings for you and wanted to hold off on our weeding she felt some type of way and dumped me!". Tae says . She had a sad look on her face in some ways I felt bad but in other ways I didn't because I wanted Shantae in every way. Sure I had Trina but I honestly wanted both of them. There were some things Trina did that tae didn't and somethings tae did that Trina didn't.
"Don't be sad! Maybe once the baby gets here we can work on us?" I say grabbing her hand.
"Maybe!"  Tae said as she smiled at me.   I wondered if this could be the start of something !.
