Shawn pov:
It's only been a week sense Nicki has been gone. I was waiting for her to call day but she hasn't. The girls had been taking this pretty rough especially Taniea. She wasn't use to Onika leaving a lot because when Niea was growing up Nicki took a lot of time off of work to make sure she was apart of her life. Sense Brandy turned three Nicki started going hard in the studio agin. So Brandy is mostly use to her not being home just me. But she still was sad that she was gone. In fact Brandy and Niea had been so upset they won't leave my bedroom. Where ever I am they are. And because of that both of them got sick. They got my cold. Nieas wasn't as bad as Brandy's though. Unfortunately Brandy had it real tough.
"Mommy I'm cold!"
Brandy fused as she tapped my leg. I was standing at the kitchen counter making dinner.
"What do you mean your cold silly! The heater is on 85 degrees and you have on a sleeper! You just like your moma always want the house hot.!"
I said shaking my head. Taniea and I loved cold air but Brandy and Onika always wanted to be under heat. A whole lot of heat. It was normal i guess sense Nicki did have the blood disorder. But I could understand why Brandy was always cold she was perfectly healthy.
"But I'm still cold mommy! I feel really cold! And my head hurts a little bit!."
Brandy said touching her temple . I felt her small head and her warm neck and she was definitely warm. "Baby your very warm you have a fever ! Maybe it's just your cold that's making you have flashes!, your going to be ok!." I said looking into her eyes. She nodded her head and gave me a hug. "I love you mommy!." Diea said kissing my cheek. "I love you to angle !" I said kissing her back.
"Ok Chanel! Dinner is almost done you think you gone be ok until then? You can go lay in momys bead until it's time to eat! Make sure you get under all the blankets.!"
I said to her . As she smiled and made her way upstairs. Niea was sitting at the counter being very quite.
"What's the matter princess!,"
I asked Niea as I took the pot of velveta off the stove.
"Nothing I just miss Moma ! I want her to come home!. She's going to miss my play!."
Niea said looking at me sadly.
Taniea hated doing things with out both Nicki and I watching. Her pet peeve was love and support! to always have it.
"Awe! It's ok princess ! There will be other plays that Moma can see ! And if it makes you feel better she can face time is while we there and watch the hole thing! She won't miss anything!."
I said smiling at Niea trying to better the situation but it didn't seem to help.
"No mommy that's not the same! I want her to be here with me and give me good luck hugs and kisses !."
Niea said looking down at the table. At this point I just wanted to call Nicki and curse her out because I hated seeing my kids so sad.
"Niea! I promise it will be ok! I'll have a talk with mom and see if she can fly in to watch your play!"
I said as Niea got happy quickly.
"Really ????? Thanks mommy!!!!!.that would make me so happy! I will never ever ever ever ask for anything ever agin!!!."
Niea said smiling almost braking her face.
She was so happy and now my job was to make sure Nicki came through.
"Ok baby! I'll call her! " I said grabbing my phone.
"BRANDY!!!!!!! COME EAT BABY!!!!!!"
I yelled loudly so Brandy could come eat.

(Phone call)
Sharika: "Hello?"

Shawn: "hey is Nicki available ? I mean I thought this was her cell phone!."
(Sarcasm)

Sharika: "it is ! She gave it to me and told me to take all her calls she's busy rehearsing for tonight's show .! "

Shawn: "ok well can you tell her to call me when she gets a chance !."

Sharika:
"Yeah girl!."

Shawn: "thank you!!."
(Hangs up)

Shawns pov:
"BRANDY!!!!!!!!!! "
I yelled agin because diea still wasn't down here to eat. She probably was stuck in her cartoons like always.
"Moma didn't answer did she?."
Niea said sadly. I felt bad because Nicki wasn't good at communicating when she was working.
"No babe but she's going to call us soon! Don't worry honey!!!."
I said turning off all the burners.
"I swear if I have to call this child one more time Ima beat her!."
I said as Niea giggles.
"Want me to go get her mom?."
Niea asked putting her fork down.
"Yes please! Tell her to et her little yellow behind down here and eat!."
I said as we both laughed.
A few moments later My phone rang.
It was a face call from Nicki.
"Hey baby!!!!!!!!." Nicki said with a big smile on her face.
"Hi queen! I miss you so damn much!!!!,"
I said looking into her eyes.
The camera was perfectly clear and I could see her every bit of beauty.
"I miss you damn much more!!! Where are my kids?."
Nicki asked as I looked by the stairs.
"Coming down ! But hey Niea had that play she's been taking about all month this Friday you gone be able to fly in to watch it? That's all she wants!."
I said getting serious.
"Of corse I am I would miss it for the world!."
Nicki said as Niea ran down stairs with out Brandy.
"Mommy!!!!!!. Brandy needs you right now!!!! She can't breathe she not waking up!!!!!."
Niea said as her face filled with tears.
""What!!!!!!!!!!" Nicki and I both yelled at the same time. I put my phone down and ran upstairs to tend to diea.
She was passed out on my bed and her body was ice cold almost. I called the ambulance and rushed to the emergency ASAP.
