Mrs. Jameson took little time to convince for time off. All she said was 'be home before one.' I was totally shocked with this response to be quite honest.
There was still one dilemma. I had no clothes to wear. I tried on almost every piece of clothing I owned.
I finally decided on a pair a tight denim jean, an unflattering white blouse, and my favourite pair of brown Suede boots.
I accessorized my outfit with the locket I got from Miss Dolly (which I wear everywhere), a fake black leather jacket and a small black clutch that I stole from Thalia, oops.
When I finally thought I was ready, I went to Hunter's room.
As I walked up the stairs, I heard loud rock music and knew where it was coming from in an instant. I got to Hunter's door and banged as hard as I could to get his attention. I heard shuffling of feet and the music turned down slightly. The door opened soon after. I was hit by a wall of cologne and body odour. Hunter, on the other hand, looked great with his hair freshly washed and spiked, white tee with brown leather jacket, and a pair of jeans. What hit me the hardest were his stunning blue eyes. They looked cool and mysterious. I liked it.
"You clean up well," I said as I walked toward his desk chair.
"Thanks. So do you... Hey, wait. Whose purse is that?" questioned Hunter.
"Thalia's. Why?"
"Just wondering because I always thought you were a big, messenger bag person."
I tried not to look offended. "I am, but I thought a clutch would work better than a messenger bag for the occasion."
Hunter just laughed. I couldn't help but join in.
"Alright. Now that you're ready, let's get this show on the road," Hunter said while gesturing to the door, "After you."
"Oh, you're so kind."
